Need Coffee Creamer Help!

I am a French-vanilla flavored creamer junkie, and although I am using the sugar-free variety I am concerned that it may be  somewhat responsible for the sugar cravings/head hunger problems I have been having lately. I tried just using vanilla flavored protein powder instead, but it made my coffee clumpy/grainy and the overall taste was really gross.

Do any of you make your own coffee creamer? What have you found that tastes the best? I'm thinking maybe some sort of combination of FF half & half, protein powder and SF Torani syrup? Suggestions?

Get low cal almond milk and mix your protein powder with that first (mix really well) - you can then add that to your coffee and it wont clump up. Throw in some SF syrups - vanilla is awesome - and enjoy :)

I mix in powder with the blender. Just pulse a few times and it mixes in well. No foam on top if you don't actually turn it up on high.

When I have coffee -- not so much in WL phase, but probably more often when I hit maintenance -- I add to it unsweetened plain almond milk and 2 tbsp SF Torani syrup.  Current favorite is the SF Salted Caramel.

Because my nutritionist allows 1% milk and stevia, I use a smidgen of milk just to slightly lighten my coffee, and add vanilla flavoring.  You can also try purchasing french vanilla flavored coffee, if its the vanilla flavor you're interested in, and not just the awesome taste of heavy sugar that vanilla creamers tend to provide.   :-)

I love flavorings also...for vanilla or chocolate (mocha java!), I use part of my rtd Premier Protein that I'll finish up as a snack later on.  can't drink coffee black or grey....very very rarely I'll use 'real' coffee mate..but only as a treat if the numbers of the day allow it.

Great ideas! I only drink 1 cup of coffee a day, but I want to squeak in some protein wherever I can and I thought this would be a good place to start.
