The Trouble with Treadmills

This sounds like something out of the Star Trek original series....the Trouble with Trills (lol). Sometimes, we have to learn natural lessons the hard way, like getting your food stuck or "dumping syndrom." I haven't had the pleasure of dumping syndrom yet and hopefully, will never find out.But then, there are good old fashion stupid moves like running the treadmill without footwear. Last Tuesday, I only had 1/2 hour to pick up my boys from their youth group and when I was upstairs, decided to squeeze in a quick 20 minute workout. I was under time pressure and when I realized my runners were downstairs, decided to go it barefooted. 20 minutes later, I stepped off the treadmill to some very, very, very sore feet. I had three huge blisters on the bottom of my feet and could barely walk. Now it is Thursday, and I haven't worked out for two days because of this dumb ol move. Lesson: keep the shoes by the treadmill or invest 30 seconds to go downstairs and put them on.
