19 Vials of blood, an ekg and a chest x-ray later.....

Well, the instructions said to go to the lab on November 11th.  19 vials of blood later I was finished.  The tech was joking with another one that he was going to win the day's highest volume of blood drawn.  I was amused, until I started feeling light headed.....but a good glass of water and juice later I was fine.  Had a cafe mocha from the cart and half a muffin, went on to have the chest x-ray and the ekg.  Hand carried the ekg to the dr. office and said hi to Dr. E's two nurses.  Perla the LVN and Gaye, who is in charge of the whole program.  Gaye pushed up my appt with Dr. E from the 22nd to the 17th, and told me that the office that is doing the fastest is the Ventura office, and that he requires a gall bladder ultrasound and an upper GI.  So those were going to be on November 30th, but I decided that there was no way I was going to wait that long to just be referred !  So I called Pan City over and over again until I got a cancellation appt on 11/19 and scheduled the ultrasound for the same date, so that I only have to fast (no water !) for one day instead of two.   Guess I will be taking the day off for that one. 

I am getting almost to the point that I am ready to believe that this surgery just might actually happen. 

So far my blood tests are all normal, with the exception of high cholestrol. they even tested me for pregnancy !  HA HA HA

I'm not nervous, just a touch excited. Now I am at 280 lbs.   20 pounds down from where I started.
