Finished pre-op testing......

I think.  Friday the 19th I went down to Panorama City Kaiser and had an upper abdominal ultrasound and then an upper GI.  I don't know why I was so terrified by the thought of the upper GI but I was.  Guess it has more to do with the fact that I tolerate so few liquids that I was freaked out by having to drink something awful.  To tell the truth, the thought of protein drinks freak me out too.  I grew up drinking water.  I hated milk, never drank soda, so never developed a taste for carbonation.  In fact, to me carbonation hurts. I don't like the bubbles.  And I don't really like sweet drinks either.  I drink my coffee with a bit of milk, drink iced tea unsweetened with lots of lemon.  Maybe once or twice a summer might have a lemonade, but only if it's ice cold and sour ! I drink lots of iced water. 

So yeah, the test was gross.  But over fairly quickly and now is DONE.  Now I wait for the results to go to Dr. E and for Gaye to send them to the surgeon.  And then WAIT for the surgeon's office to call.
