I know that I have whined about the scale not moving and getting frustrated with those stalls. Well, I just came back from my dr. for my 4 month post surgical follow-up (actually, its been 3 1/2 months). I am way ahead of where he wou

Just got back from 25 miles in 2 hours. This would not have been even a drug induced hallucination just 6 months ago. Feeling stonger and healthier that I've felt in years.

I'm sorry for going around with this AGAIN, but I am in a stall of stalls and just don't get it.
I am about 3 months out from my sleeve and have been cranking along. Now I have not lost an ounce in over 3 weeks. I have been logging every bit

Please forgive the somewhat graphic nature of this post. That's why I chose the Men's forum, figuring no one is going to think me a brute.

So the other day I was discussing our dinner options with my wife. She has never had a weight problem but has been very supportive of my journey. I also do all the cooking in the house because...well...she sucks at it (she freely admits this).

I am at exactly 8 weeks out and have hit my second stall and it seems relentless. I hit a 3 week stall fittingly at exactly 3 weeks and it lasted about a week. I then started dropping again for a couple of weeks, but stalled again. I have not droppe

I'm about 7 weeks out and doing fine. I recently noticed I have a weird pain in my middle upper back. Kind of right in the lower middle of my shoulder blades, right behind where my stomach/sleeve is. I don't have any pain eatin

So out of necessity I went to buy some new clothes today. I bought a pair of Levi jeans in size 38!!! Granted they are a little snug, but completely wearable and not at all uncomfortable. But the 40's were too big, and I'm sure within just a couple of

It's official. I now have pretty much nothing that fits!!!
I've already gone through the clothing that I had "fatted" out of in recent years. And now I am swimming in even those. I am completely out of belt holes as well. All of

I know its not the fabled 'onederland', but this morning I dipped below 250 weighing in at a joyful 249!!!
My original goal when I started on this board just a few months ago was to reach 240 by the end of the year. Hmmm...time to rethink that

Seriously...I really think I hit the VSG lottery. I was on my feet an hour after surgery while still in the recovery room. I had no trouble at all taking in water and fluids from the moment they allowed it. I have not had one single instance of naus

Hi all, I was wondering how, or if any of you came out publicly about your surgery. I for one kept it to a very few close friends and family members leading up to surgery. This was not out of shame or embarrassment, but simply so I wouldn't have to e

I heard this was possible but thought it was more common with bypass. I am shocked because I was never very fond of them before, but now I absolutely love veggies...especially zucchini and yellow squash. I actually have to remind myself not to eat it

hi all,
New here. I began my journey almost 4 months ago. I'm a 48 year old man, 5'11" tall. I was 306lb at my heaviest back in March. I lost 23 pounds in the 3 months leading up to my surgery on June 19. Surgery went well and I was on my
