Bittersweet

Today is day 7 of my liquid diet and everyday it gets better. I am ready to start my new life next Thursday. But I can't help but to feel a little sadness not over the surgery but that my father is not here to witness it. He passed last October and I miss him so much. He was one of my biggest supporters in anything I did. And the fact that this milestone in my life he won't get to share with me . But I know he is proud of me and he loves me and that makes my heart smile . New Life Here I Come..... Thank You Daddy For Your Unconditional Love!
