Mymamona1
morbidly obese vs. less than morbid obese
Feb 20, 2011
So I'm finding myself struggling with those that only have 70-100lbs to lose to get to goal. Okay I know I waited too long to take care of my own situation til I got to the size that I did. 371 to be exact. I was honestly at peace with my size with a few exceptions....sitting on the ground with a group of children having a picnic. Going to concerts and sporting venues without worrying about being comfortable or fitting into the seats. I read post of people almost getting to goal after only losing so little weight..Okay its not just a little weight but I feel like its so far away. For me to be at goal I probably need to have lost 200+ pounds.Am I wrong for having these feelings. I never say it outloud but I figured others feel the same way too and I feel blogging here is a "safe" place to do so. I'm happy for those with only 100 to lose but on the same token I have such a long way to go and I will get there with more saggy skin and hopefully not looking older and less plump.
So once I am "overweight" I may feel differently about this or maybe I will feel more accomplished as I have lost more than them "skinny minnies".
I guess thats all I have to say about this topic.
Have a great evening and happy losing! LOSERS!
