Gall bladder issues who'd of thunk it?

I know its been awhile since my last blog post but yesterday I had a turn in health. YIKES! Last week I had a mild lingering headache accompanied by pain between my shoulder blades. Which I dismissed as weather change and high pollution days. So here is whats going on.
Since my surgery I have had a heavier cycle accompanied by cramps (which I never got before) and this week was no different than the past couple months. So these cramps and ailments of last week never phased me. Well following a nice lunch with a good salad I began to experience more cramps. Again I thought it was my "Aunt Mary" (Flo's cousin) visiting me. The cramping continued and began to get heavier so I left work to go home to rest. As I was driving home I realized I'd better get this cramping checked out and swung by and picked up my daughter to drive me to the ER. The only surgery I'd ever had was my VSG surgery so I didnt know what it was. Did I eat too much? Too fast?  Was it my appendix or was I just a big baby and menstrual cramps got the most of me? Well went to the hospital ER that I had my surgery (highly recommended because they are more familiar with a bariatric patient) It took a few more minutes than going to the closest ER. They got me in and ran tests. $$ cha-ching $$ but didnt matter because being healthy with bills is way better than the alternative. They gave me medication to ease the pain, wait eliminate the pain. Prognosis possible Gall Stones with a dialated bile duct. Recommendation to follow up with surgeon for a removal or next steps.   Well I dont want yet another surgery but if it has to be done it will be done.   The nice thing that has come out of this experience is all the support I have. My friends have offered to help me along with things if I need help. The WLS support group friends have even stepped up and offered to help me. I am so blessed to know so many people willing to be with me during this journey.
