I need help..lol

hello everybody i had to say something tonight i been looking at oher member pages to keep my mind focus on my surgery which is august 5. My mother hates the idea that im getting the surgert to top it off. i start a new job in a week i dont know how to tell them about this. I know you need at least 4weeks for healing. I just scared that they might fired me or something for doing being the new girl and only work for a month. My  mom think i should push it back but i dont want to i dont know what to do.  Any suggestions??
