1 week till surgery

The count down is on ... Tomorrow I need to attend the GSH pre-op class and the support group, the next day I get the IVC filter inserted and all the tests for surgery on Tuesday. In between all that I need to convince my Mom (with Alzheimer's) I will be ok and I am not dying.I am not nervous but a bit eager. I have a ton to do before surgery to get the house and family ready, but I am so tired all the time because of the low daily calories... so, I guess I am eager because that means I am finally done with all the stuff I need to do and can rest alittle.
I am still feeling the loss of food and I feel like I need have a final "goodbye" chinese dinner, but I am afraid to ask the doctor and look stupid. What to do... what to do?
