The IVC Filter decided it likes me!

Went in for the IVC filter removal today, but it refused to come out...so now it is a keeper! 

The doctor said there is no danger in it staying in my vena cava, so if anything it will protect me longer against blood clots.  My father passed away from post-op blood clots 21 years ago, so I can use all the protection I can get makes me feel better.

I must say though... I feel like the Roater Rooter man did a number on my neck vena cava  ... I hurt turning my neck, laughing, chewing, and talking (I'm sure my husband likes that one) .
