Feeling optimistic

It's been nearly 8 months since my referral for surgery. I have my assessment with the dietician next week and follow up with the nurse practitioner the week after. I am so glad for the progress I have made in the system thus far. I have read horror stories about people getting lost in the system. I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch, but I'm thankful I haven't had any major process stalls.
