Out of curiosity, have you found as LWs that you need more calories, especially if you are active, than your surgeon might recommend for much higher BMI patients who are also not active?

I have been back from Mexico for 10 days now and doing great. No complications, pain, or nausea. I would highly recommend Dr. Alvarez and as a self-pay, the price was a lot less than I could find in the US and I think the care was even better. 

I think I was always considered a LW but even more so now. With my revision, I only have 65lbs left to lose before I'm at my ultimate goal (never reached with my band). 

I am hoping to be active here to keep up with people in similar positions.

I had my band removed and revised to a VSG last week. Up until my revisions surgery, I didn't know that this constant pain was caused by the band and I never heard about anyone else with it until just before my revision. I did actually meet a couple of

i will always be grateful for the band because it was what my insurance would cover 100% five years ago. I never would have lost 94 lbs without it.
