I wouldn't call it a stall. Probably good practice at maintenance. I was hoping to be at 186 lbs at one year -- I was at 198.8. Today, nearly 12 months since that time I am, this morning, at 196.2 lbs.
I am very pleased that I am able to ma

Haven't posted in a long while since I have basically stalled since May 2016. Weighed 198.8 that morning and today weight 196.3. My original goal was 186 (150 pounds down). My lowest weight since May 2016 was 195.6.
I have been pleased to ma

Just recently I had another episode of food being stuck. It took literally hours to clear it up.
Ate about 5 ozs of Chicken Cordon Bleu along with some green beans for evening meal at 5:15 p.m. I was still dealing with the pressure at 12:30 a

I haven't posted for awhile because of my own mild frustration with the slow pace of weight

Has anyone tried these from Atkins Nutritionals..??
I bought a 12-pack at Sam's Club today and found the berry to be really pretty good. Refreshing like Gatorade with 90 calories and 20 grams of protein.
Just wanted to know

This is a very filling and pretty good protein entree. It is not nearly as painfully ugly as the Explore Asian Black Bean pasta noodles :-). Although mung bean fettuccine is a bit on the green side....

Is this similar to your plan? or how different is or was it?
- eat protein first
- 100 grams of protein
- 100 grams of carbs
- 64 ounces of water a day, not during meals and try to avoid 30 min before and after

I am approximately 26 lbs from my weight goal after VSG on 07/01/2015. Hopefully, I will be there around June 1st 11 months after surgery. Just curious about others and their journeys who have reached their weight goal. Am I making normal progress?

This might not suit many of you, but "occasionally" I like a hot chocolate or some similar concoction before bed. This has worked well for me and it is not too far out of line!

Just a quick question about your vitamin intake? Do all of you who have had VSG continue to take vitamins in the long-term? My numbers seem to be very good and just wonder how necessary the vitamin intake will be over the long haul? Not that I won't

My favorite side effect of the VSG is the feeling of fullness after I eat my three meals a day. The intake of only about 1 to 1 1/2 cups of food then feeling as though I just finished Thanksgiving Dinner is awesome. My question is will I have this fe

Just curious as to the general length of time it took VSG patients, male or female to reach their goal weight. I am just 2.5 months out of surgery and a little over half way there. I am hoping to be at goal by next summer averaging about 6 pounds o
