Hello, my name is Claudia. I am a 31 yr. old mother of 2 roudy boys. I have been overweight all my life (it sure seems that way). I have been wanting WLS for about 5 yrs now. I had already done all the requirements for the surgery back in '03 but was denied by my husband's insurance (very disappointed). Gave up and started trying to loose weight on my own. Obviously, it did not work. I started gaining more and started getting desperate and very depressed.
Then, by the grace of God, I got this wonderful job working for the school district. I was very blessed. I have been working here for about 2 years but my job requires me to be out and about. Well, with my weight, it gets pretty tireing and by the time I get home I have no energy to be with my family. So, I started with my doctor to get approved by my insurance provided at my job. Within 7 months I have gotten approved! My surgery date is set for Jan. 8 2008!!!!!! I am so happy. I will be posting more as the surgery gets near. Please, pray for me and if you have any comment, whether good or bad, please post them. Thanks!
