tomorrow is my surgery it is finally here the liquid diet was hell for me ,i learned that my whole life has been wraped up in food my every thought even when i was a kid.it was like saying good by to an old friend that has been ripped away.what do i do now that i don't have my security blanket?i keep saying to my self a new adventure,you can do this,i just want my old friend back.. my son had his birthday party saturday and all around me was food to keep focus i just bite my hand and said to my self "you can do this don'tgive up your surgery is in 2 days".i have been on  a emotional rollcoaster for 2 weeks.thank god 1 more day.thanks everyone

Iam proud of my self for sticking with the shakes and my husband has been very very supportive. I am hungery all the time i don't know if iam drinking enough or getting enough calories.iam drinking a shake every 6 hours .if iam doing something wrong please let me know, iam getting RNY     thank you

i have started the liver reduction diet i can have up to 4 shakes a day,iam the main chef and meal planner. at this moment my son is cooking a marinated pork loin and the smells are so good how do you handle not being able to eat.I will be on liquid shakes for 2 weeks .HELP

June  is here and it begins my liver reduction diet,pre-operative nutrition, exercise class and blood tests.Iam happy it is here i can't think of anything else theses days. My surgery is on june 20th and it is almost here. May has been such a stressful month i fill i can breath a little, now iam about to change my life its a bit exciting and scary.waiting

I will have surgery on june 20 at 8:am,that day is also my sons' birthday . my husband will there i am so happy.i could have had this surgery 11 years ago and i chickened out. my weight is the same as it was 11 years ago, if i didn't do it now ..... i am so happy i know it is only a tool hard work from here.

i have been walking more because it is nice out sunny and no snow.i will be pulling out the old bow flex to.

we bought wii for my daughter and it is the best work out .the games: just dance 2 and the michael jackson   we danced and sang even my mother danced to tina turners(proud mary) it was good fun and we are active.

I HAVE RECIEVED MY APPROVAL LETTER. I AM SO HAPPY  I WOULD LIKE MY SURGERY DATE TO BE JUNE 20. I HAVE NOT BEEN ON IN A WHILE BECAUSE MY COMPUTER WAS BOKEN .

yesterday i had the gastrointestinal procedures done i had no problems it was painfree and  i slept for hours after. the waiting process is the worst but i am still learning a lot.see ya

hello iam still here iam doing the waiting game and taking tests.friday i am going to have a gastroscopt (egd).i read members blogs and it is keeping my spirits up. thank you guys
