Kulia, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. As you know, our profiles provide a lifeline to others embarking on this journey. You never know who you might inspire!

Kulia, let me tell you that you've made one of the most remarkable choices of your life! I had my open RNY on 8/20/02 and am now down 95 pounds! You have a wonderful angel with you, not only cuz she's a dear friend, but she was my angel too! Just remember to walk walk walk and before you know it your day will be here and you too will become one of us losers! My best wishes and prayers will be with you throughout your journey for a speedy and uneventful surgery & recovery! Please keep us posted on your recovery, but I'm sure Lei will tell me how well you are doing with it. But to hear it from you will help all the others get through their surgeries. Best of luck!
