First fill tomorrow!!!!!

Well it has been one month since I have been banded. I will see the doctor on Friday and I am ready to see when I will get my first fill. I have lost some weight but not a whole lot and I feel that I can eat anything so I NEED RESTRICTION!!! I feel that I am healing fine because I am back to normal.

I have been exercising on the WII Fit at least 5 times a week and some days I go take a walk when I put the children down for nap. The journey has begun now I just need to kick-start the race..

Well I just wanted to post an update...ttfn

Well it has been 3 days and it has gotten so much better for me. My surgery went very well, my doctor told my husband that the 3 stones in my gallbladder was the size of his thumb (And if you know Dr. V he is a big guy). Well I have been walking the first couple of days slow so today I feel good me and husband is going out together.

I am on the losers bench and total with the liquids I am down about 15 pounds...I am very grateful..

This is the morning of and of course I can not sleep...I have to be at the hospital at 7:30 and surgery is at 9:30 am...Soon I will be on the other side...I  thank God for this opportunity because I feel real peaceful right now.

I went to see the doctor today and he did not realize that I was suppose to have my gallbladder removed as well...something got cross in the system. The surgery facility I was going to will not allow him to do gallbladders so anyway.....It has to be in a hospital..
I started to get discouraged and then my husband said let's pray and he said you are going to have it a day earlier and it will be at Mercy Hospital.....I just looked, I mean I have faith but at that moment I needed him to be that rock for me...I needed a light at the end of the tunnel. The nurse came back and said it will be on Wednesday instead of Thursday at Mercy Hospital....I just thank God for being in control, I feel there was a reason I may need to be at the hospital ....But to God I give the glory...Thank you Jesus!!!!

I have been on liquids for 6 1/2 days and I have been doing better than expected. I went to Sam's club this past weekend and survived (my husband said he could not cause he's on liquids with me) but last night I would have killed for some HOT WINGS...my daughters and husband had to talk me off the ledge...OMG...I could smell and taste them...But I did not but I did smash up 3 saltine crackers in my tomatoe soup.

I thought about the big pictures..A SMALLER HEALTHIER ME! I have 8 more days with the liquids...Pray for me!! I am trying to get in the protein and the calories but it is hard..but I figure less calories and protein then to eat and ruin it for me...So I am pressing on toward the mark. I go see the doctor tomorrow for final preop stuff...so til next time.....

I went to my "Pre-Op Boot Camp" today it was very informative about before and after surgery. I start on my two weeks of liquids on tomorrow...pray for me..I know I can because this something I want to do. The count down has began for me on this jorney. I weigh 285.5 (my scale) and will continue to press on to my goal weight of 150. I visit the doctor on Feb. 12th and surgery on the 19th...

I have 3 weeks to my surgery and I can not wait but at the same time very curious about the pain. But you know what no pain...no gain..So i am so ready to be on the loser bench like everyone else...

I got my surgery date of February 19, 2009...Thank you God...Watch me do my dance.. 

I am waiting on the insurance to approve my surgery and to receive a date. I feel that the surgery is more within my reach and I am more anxious than ever.
