All through high school I was 155-160 very athletic. In 2007 I got pregnant and weighed 300 by birth, after baby I weighed 330....2009 I got the lap band weight loss surgery, day of surgery I weighed 260 lbs....Fall/winter 2010 I purposely developed an eating disorder, due to my lap band being filled I would intentionally irritate my esophagus and stomach lining so I would not be able to eat, I got down to 180...By Spring/summer 2011 I maintained a healthy 200...got pregnant in 2012, at birth I weighed 282, dropped down to 270ish and I am now 290!! So pregnancy has been a huge issue for me which is why my husband I have decided NO MORE KIDS! haha

 

July 28th, 2014 I got my first full fill since 2012....this is once again the beginning, but hopefully the last! =)

Day 15 and still goin...this weekend i went to the fair and didnt pig out! I had honestly, only a couple bites of fries and an elephant ear! Did lots of walking too =) there were a couple times last week and this weekend I felt discouraged and wanted to give up and give in but i overcame that battle and stayed steong! =) today is the start of a new week, so here it goes!!

day 10...seeing a change

Today was the first day in quite a while I put on clothes other than sweats, sports bra and baggy shirt...I must say I felt and looked fabulous! I wasnt busting out of the seams, i was comfortable and confident...i never wear leggings because I do have thunder thighs, so today when I tried them on and saw and felt how good i looked, my self esteem went through the roof! although the scale told me one thing my clothes told me something totally different! And that is EXACTLY why I dont live for the scale or numbers, but my amount of comfort and confidence!

my view of the gym...

Yesterday I realized how funny it is how people really emphasize working out and doing certain things for cardio, weightlifting, aerobics, etc when in reality everyone "works out" on a daily basis without really trying, walking to your car, cooking meals, walking around your house, housework, yard work, grocery shopping, chasing kiddos around, having sex...everything you do burns calories! So as long as you stay active throughout the day, don't kick yourself in the ass for not hitting the gym! I know in this hot weather I get up and do things and usually break a sweat and it feels just as good! and in cold weather, when your outside you burn even more calories because body works harder to stay warm. Of course hitting the gym and doing what your "supposed" to do definitely helps and you lose weight faster and helps you tone as you go! So don't let the media, society or people you know get to you and allow yourself to feel bad for not working out. I would rather make sacrifices and do what I can at home and around mine and my familys schedule and be with my family, instead of having my other home at the gym where my family is not. But I am definitely not knocking down the gym and I respect those who are dedicated!

survived the weekend!

Well today marks day 8 of my journey! I have managed to lose 1 pound...could be better but at least I didn't gain! I survived the weekend eating rampages too! So many temptations with attending celebrations, I didn't do my best, but I didn't reach misery or regret! 

Getting back on track, really pushing myself in exercising this week as I have alot of upcoming events that I want to look and feel fabulous for! 

So heres to a new fabulous week!

seeing and feeling a difference!

Although it has only been 5 days since start date, I can feel and see a difference in my face, (especially my chin!) and stomach area....I don't feel as tired, m skin is clearing up, I have more energy and I don't feel tight and puffy! Loving this feeling and an incredible motivation! I feel I have FINALLY hit my happy place and reason to keep going!

so easy to give in...

well even though I have been doing GREAT and feeling awesome, I had alot of temptations yesterday and gave in a couple times, luckily they were foods I couldn't have (although I shouldn't) and their calories were low, but it's still the thought that I gave in thats driving me nuts. On the plus side, I felt like crap afterwards, and its just been 4 days of doing things right! SO that was a good kick in the ass for me. I didn't give up though! Usually once I give in to temptation, I give up and stuff my face and tell myself to just get used to being fat, disgusting and miserable. NOT THIS TIME!! Ready to get my walk on and burn off them extra calories! =)

Day 4

Well day 3 and 4 have gone well..I have followed my lap band rules and exercised. It has been super hot outside so sitting in the sun and sweating has made me feel good as far as detoxing goes! Plus im getting a very nice tan wich helps my confidence! I have so much more energy thanks to my iron, b12 and Dexyfen...But I am ready for bed by 9pm! 

 

Very proud of myself for sticking to this, seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and remaining motivated and positive!!
