Okay so in the beginning, I was going to have RNY, but now after looking at the number of people who fail, I decided not to. My sister (Tremory40) had VSG. It is working Fabulous for her! Now here I am, wanting VSG but can't find the funds since insurance will not cover it. Trying to recover from the expenses of adopting our son. Oh yeah, didn't post about him. He is so adorable and my little gift from God. Born June 1st. Named him Christian Emmanuel. Only God could have helped me save about 38K to get him. Now we're broke and I am still super plus sized. I am also recovering from a broken ankle. Had surgery and now have a plate and nine screws. Lucky me. Don't think walking in flip flops would have caused such a traumatic injury with my foot rolling over if I wasn't this size. My size never bothered me that much until I became a mother. I really want to be here for him and be able to do all the activities instead of being on the sidelines. So I have a closet full of clothes from my sister and mine and still have nothing to wear. Everything makes me look Fat. But that is just reality. I really need to dig deep and find it in myself to get out of this pit and find a way to raise the money for surgery. Sis had it done in Mexico. A bit cheaper than here. I am just rattling on and on. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
