"My first impression of Dr. Hausmann is that he really listened to me and took time with the appointment, unlike some doctors which simply watch the clock. I had initially thought that I wanted to have RNY, but I changed it to VSG. Dr. Hausmann was remarkable in dictating a letter to my insurance company regarding my migraines and medications that I am on in hopes that it would be approved due to the non-malabsorbtion with the VSG. It was approved on the first try! Much thanks. He was very good about explaining in detail the surgery and it's risks. I completed many tests before my surgery could be scheduled, which I appreciate his attention to making sure that my body could go through the surgery. I have my surgery scheduled in one week, 01/26/10. Please keep me in your prayers."
