Pre Op Appointment

Went to Ottawa today for my pre op appointment. Meet with a pharmacist, a nurse, and anesthesiologist.  I also had some blood work and an ECG. The appointment went really, really well and I am glad that step is over, so only have to wait two more weeks before the surgery.  

Had to stop at a highway rest stop on the way home from Ottawa.  I saw the A&W and wanted it soooooo bad!  SOBS!  I made myself go sit in the car so I didn't have to look at it.

Also went to the dentist today, to have a perm filling put in on a tooth.  She told me that she had the same surgery with the same surgeon two years ago. What an inspiration she was to me, I gave her a big hug and thanked her for helping to ease some of my fears surrounding the surgery.  

Now, just need to get past the next two weeks on optifast.
