Three days post-op

 So I had my band placed on Wednesday. The last thing I remember is the Anesthesiologist putting a mask over my face at about 10:10am....I woke up in the recovery room at 12:15pm.  It was not so bad....
I was in my room by 2:30pm.... I was drowsy on and off for the afternoon... I got out of bed about 5:30pm or so and was walking around the halls by 7:00pm... I had Toradol at 9:30pm which helped me sleep.  
I got up at 7 the next morning... This was my first night as a patient in the hospital since I had my son in 1991.. I am a nurse and have worked nights, but being a patient was a different experience....   


So far things have been ok... ...I have taken the pain meds they ordered a few times... I did some laundry yesterday.  I have not really been hungry. But I had 2 protein drinks yesterday .....and some jello...

Its taking me a while to drink the shakes...and eat the jello...  I am feeling good so far..
