It's been 1 year, and two days since I had Lap-Band Surgery. So much has changed. My outlook on life is completely different. A year ago I wanted to stay inside all day, wear a jacket everywhere i went, didnt want to be alive half the time, always walking in to the kitchen, just to do an inventory check, and of course take a snack back with me. I was unable to fit into a pair of jeans, my bras were so tight they hurt, I had never been in a relationship, i cut a lot of people out of my life, becuase i felt so bad about who I was. My life was going no where. Those days are gone forever. I've lost 82 pounds, I don't wear a jacket unless it's cold, I'm comfortable talking to people about my weight. Before, only my bestfriend and doctor knew how much i weighed. I wouldnt even tell my mom. When I went to a restraunt, I always sat at a table, not a booth, becuase I couldnt always fit in a booth. I wouldnt buy new clothes, or go out with friends. I love going out with friends, I love getting new clothes, and finding smaller sizes. I'm more outgoing and comfortable with myself. My little brother can hug me and wrap his arms all the way around me. My family has all started to loose weight and get healthy with me and it's so exciting! I love my new life, and it gets better and better everyday.
