Well YAY me!  I decided to call Dr.Graber's office this morning for some advice on how I should go about things.  Whether I should book my consultation now, or if I should wait for OHIP to approve.  She booked me right way!  My consult is April 29th at 11:00am.  I'm so excited!!!  36 days away!!!  She told me they would book my surgery that same day.  I couldn't be more happy!!!  The road to becoming healthy is inching closer and I am estatic!!

Well, yesterday was my final decision in regards to having this WLS.  I've been struggling with my weight for years and years.  Making excuses, trying every diet known to man with zero results.  I believe its my fate to have this life changing surgery. 

I have made an appointment with Dr.Ashe back in Canada for Monday March 31,2008.  Hopefully he can push for this to be done in a very untimely fashion as time is something I don't have.

I've downloaded all the necessary forms and will be taking them with me to my appointment.  I've also gotten a heads up from my gf Lori that Dr.Graber will be in Ottawa the day before my appointment.  This is another blessing as I still am at the beginner stage of knowing everything I absolutely need to know about this surgery.

On my own scale as of today I weigh 280 lbs and am approximately 4'10".  I will have more accurate stats when I go to see Dr.Ashe.
