9 Weeks Out - March 4, 2009
Mar 05, 2009
My what a difference 9 weeks makes. I am starting to realize what works for me and what doesn't. I think my biggest struggle at this junction is my speed of eating. I tend to wait too long to eat and then I am quite hungry and I eat too fast. I have had several episodes of vomiting, but can tell it is more of how fast I eat and not chewing verses what I eat. I tend to eat more protien and some days I hardly get anything else in. I am struggling with finding calcium I can tolerate. The chewables I have broken out in hives and can't tolerate the flavors. I am recently tired some calcium pills from GNC, but they might have irritated my pouch. I might have to go back to the chocolate chews, but I didn't like the flavor as much.I have had a couple of Wow moments; I went shopping for a pair of jeans and was able to find a pair that was not in the "big Ladies" section, that felt wonderful. I walk every day and look forward to it, instead of dreading and having foot pain afterwards. I stil have some emotional eating cravings; but I don't act on it. I try to internalize and ask myself why do I want to eat? Bored? tired? thirsty? Am I really hungry? I am in the process of retraining my brain and breaking my food addiction habits. I am sure this will take some time, but I am determined to overcome!
