Nervous, Anxious, and Freakin' Out!!!

Well, here's my dilemna... I have done ALL of the pre-certification requirements for the surgery (psych consult, upper Endoscopy, gallbladder ultrasound, dietician consults, and 3 month pre-op diet). I have been very anal about completing the requirements in a timely fashion. The first time that my information was submitted, the insurance compant denied it saying that I had not completed a 90 day pre-op diet. Well when we counted the days on the calendar, it was in fact three months, but because some months are shorter than others , it was only 88 days. Go figure! And I am thinking... are your serious?! 2 stinking days! So I am on the diet for another month and bring the paperwork to my surgeon to appeal and resubmit. Now I am waiting for insurance approval AGAIN. Is it just me, or does the time seem to tick past at a V-E-R-Y S-L-O-W pace? I find myself looking at the clock, and the calendar, wondering when I will hear something. I am so frustrated with the wait, and I have started binge eating because I am stressed and anxious.
