I knew before I actually got to meet the Doctor, that he was a genuine, awesome man because I had read his comments on his message board, but I can tell you that as you get to know this man, he is more than your Surgeon, he is your friend. He cares for each of his patients on a personal level. I also feel that his office staff is the same way. When my approval finally came through, not only did I cry, but Debbie, the office manager did too. They care about the before person, the surgery and the after person. I am truly blessed to be a patient of Dr. Simpsons and I thank God that I am.

Dr. Simpson was very knowledgable and very practical. He spoke plainly and was very open about his feelings about the surgery and expected results and risks involved.

His office staff was very professional and courtious.

Dr. Simpson seems very involved with his patients (before and after) and takes an active roll in the support meetings and planned events.

He is a cool dude - and totally crazy, that's why we love him!!

A very funny guy!The office staff is wonderful and very easygoing as was Dr Simpson. Dr Simpson spoke with me at great length on the surgery and covered all bases anwnsering all questions. Debbie was also great!! When I got sick the morning of surgery(hospital gave me something I am allergic to), he was ready to call it off and reschedule if I desired, Really wanted me to be comfortable with my choice. Very avalible after surgery by an email or phone call. Really believes in aftercare and group support!!!

Dr. Simpson is awesome. He sincerely cares about his patients and takes all the time you need. My impression with him was good from the beginning, two years ago, when I had my RNY done. It is still the same. He is a caring, concerned and kind man. His office is great, too. They go out of their way to get you in when you need to come in and handle all your paperwork. You couldn't be in better hands than Dr. Simpson's and his staff.

My first impression of Dr. Simpson was that he had the most piercing blue eyes! He is a great speaker and he truely cares for each and everyone of his patients. His office staff is incredible. They are the nicest and most accomodating of any office staff I have seen.

My first impression of Dr. Simpson? Well he seems like a very compassionate, caring man who is willing to help you as long as you are willing to help yourself. He's got a great sense of humor (which helps) and he knows when to be serious. I haven't spoken to him one on one but I'm getting close to my inital consult. I'll write more after june 11. :)

Well, where should I start? Dr. simpson is great, he answered all my questions gave me honest answers and was very professional about things. He's got a great sence of humor. He's very honest, and really seems to care about his patients. I didn't feel like a $ dollar sign. I felt like a patient.

One thing that really bothered me was that it took me almost 1 hr 15 min after my appointment to talk with Dr. Simpson. My appointment was @ 10:30 am didn't see him till about 11:45. I was then suppose to see the nurse and the nutritionist and didn't have the chance because they had a prior engagement. The good thing is that I can go see them at any time and not make an appointment. All in all, I would rate Dr. Simpson and his staff about a 8.

I'm sure I'll have more to say down the line as I get to know them more and more. :)

Wow, so much has happened. I had surgery on 11/11/03 and have encountered some problems not physically but mentally. Dr. Simpson and his staff are the greatest, most caring, compassionate group of people I ever had the pleasure of working with. You know how some Doctors make you feel like your just another cash account. Well Not him, he's very promopt on returning calls, answering all your questions or concerns no matter how stupid they might sound at the time.

On a scale of 1 to 10 I give him a +20.. He is so awsome. I'm so pleased with his after care. He's a godsend to the medical profession. His staff is also amazing, caring and very compasionate people. God Bless them all.

I was impressed with him. He is very dedicated and takes a personal approach to his patients. He also has a great sense of humor. He has a great reputation and answered all my questions. His staff is friendly and helpfull. He has a structured pre-op program and also strongly emphasizes post-op followup. I have been to two seminars, a support group meeting and a private consult and am awaiting insurance approval.

Pre-op--met surgeon twice at seminars and once privatly. I was impressed each time. He is interesting, educational and thorough. He has structured before and after-care including nutritionists. He was open about the risks (I will be his oldest patient). His staff is friendly.

Not one thing negative to say about Dr. Simpson yet. Seems to be the general opinion of most of his patients also.
He seems to be a wonderfully caring doctor with a passion for his patients' welfare. A breath of fresh air that's for sure!
I am looking forward to this weight loss journey with Dr. Simpson as my focal point.
Thanks Dr. Simpson!

my first impression of dr simpson was refreshing. he is deadacated to his patients, honest, strait forward, i have never heard of a doctor that would go on walks and out to breakfast with his patients. his staff is wanderful, they are dedicated just as much as the dr. is. also very helpfull. there is nothing i dont like about any of them. all the above they are a great team to work with, they are like family even though i havent been with them long. they give you a sence of belonging.after care is a must i dont think that they could ever stess that enough.yes they do have a structured aftercare program.
