I attended Dr. Simpson's seminar and everything I heard about him is true. He is a caring and compassionate doctor who understands what we are going through and wants to help us have a better quality of life.

I like the fact that you can e mail Dr. Simpson with any and all questions, anytime, and he will get back to you. Dr. Simpson is there for his patients.

When I first me Dr Simpson at his seminar I knew right away that he was pretty awesome. He was down to earth, knowledgable and answered all the questions that were asked. When I had my consult I was even more impressed. I had 2 and 1/2 pages of questions, he answered every question I had in great detail and never made me feel rushed. Dr Simpson does require that you lose 10 pounds prior to scehduling surgery. This is his way of seeing your commitment. I have heard some say "Well if I could lose weight I wouldn't need this surgery", that is true, but to most of us morbidly obese people it is not hard to lose 10 pounds. In the past week (today is 04/28) I have lost 5 pounds.

I do not have anything bad I can say about Dr Simpson or his staff. His office manager Debbie and his surgical scheduler Mary have been very kind and have responded to my e-mails very promptly. Then there is also Sally who works the front desk, she is so sweet. Last but not least is Ann, she weighed me, took my vitals and was very kind! I have not met Kim who does his billing but I am sure she is great, too.

Dr Simpson very much stresses after care and developing a good support system. He has a great website : www.arizonabariatriccenter.com

I think if you go and look at the posts from him and his patients you will see a great bond and caring between everyone. I am so excited to be taking this step and I am so glad I chose Dr Simpson.

I am scheduled for a seminar with Dr. Simpson on April 30th. I have heard such great things about him and the personal attention he gives to each of his patients, that I decided to go to him. I have also e-mailed him with questions and he has responded to all of them. Very impressive.

Both are great. You must heal the mind as well as the body to obtain optimal results
The first time I met with Dr. Simpson he was very friendly and down to earth. As time passes I feel as if I have always known him. He has become a friend very warm and caring as well as my doctor. The staff at Dr. Simpson's office is friendly, cooperative and on top of everything. I really did not find anything I did not like about Dr. Simpson he has a beautiful warm and caring personality. You will never be in a line waiting for months on a surgery date. When you make your appointment to see Dr. Simpson you will meet with him and not a Physician's Asst. He is a very strong advocate of before, aftercare and keeping to the plan. Yes I was pleasantly surprised that everything is all spelled out. His website is awesome and all the instruction are spelled out on the website. Dr. Simpson was very knowledgeable and thorough. He explained the surgery with diagrams and using lanauage that everyone can understand. He explained the risk without sugar coating or terrifing you. He also explained what success from following the plan would bring. Dr. Simpson is a very good doctor with exceptional knowledge and skills. I like his style to he incorporates the mind and body to bring about optimal results.

My first impression of Dr Simpson was a positive one. I liked him and I think he has a terrific sense of humor. He is very caring and takes time for you. He stays in touch and you can talk to him by email...he answers right away.
He was very thorough in explaining what to expect and the risks. His seminar, in addition to being informative, allowed us to meet others interested in having the surgery.
His staff are exceptional and also very caring, doing whatever they can to help.
As for anything negative, its too soon to say, except the waiting for surgery is much too long.

Dr. Simpson is a great doctor. I really enjoy talking with him and I am looking forward to having him as my surgeon.

2-15-02 I recieve a call from Dr. Simpson's office that I am approved for surgery! Still waiting on a contract to be signed with a hospital, but the hard part is over.
