Topic: Good Morning Everyone..Sunday
Hi Everyone... I hope everyone's weekend is going well. Yesterday my family and my friend and her family (minus her hubby with a sore back ), went to "The Big E" . We must have walked for about 5 hours. Now, I'm not sure what "mileage" it was, but at least it was walking. I had a couple pieces of my hubby's fried veggies, 2 of my friends' daughters' cheese fries, and one of her sons' buffalo ckn wings. I had had my bowl of cereal, and some salad for lunch. Then, we decided to stop for dinner on the way home, which we ate around 10:00pm, OUCH! I had some fries, 1 mozz stick, and 1/2 of buffalo ckn burger with blue and swiss cheese. Again, OUCH. But, I had a fun day, and I am back on track this morning. I am also having my cycle, which tends to puff me up a bit. So, the scale reads 279 this morning. It's raining here today, but I still plan on going to get a few things at the grocery store and to my husbands' company craft fair. He works for a non-profit, and they have 60 vendors signed up. It's outdoors though, so I bet a lot of customers won't show. How is everyone else's weekend going? Oh Yeah...3 strings of bowling tonight...(at least it's movement!) Love, Lisa 380/279/200ish

Hi Lisa and everyone, Thanks for asking about my family stuff. Mom is in sub-acute care in the nursing home. It seems the dementia is getting worse, although she has good days and bad in that department. She doesn't seem to be in pain, but she sleeps a lot and has lost more weight. My dad, sister and I went to the funeral home and did what we had to do there - it was difficult, but I'm glad we got it done and glad we were all in agreement on everything. My son came down from NH to see his gram - it was sad, he got really upset, but that's understandable. Not doing too great in the eating department. I'm really not paying much attention and have been eating whatever I want. I haven't weighed - kind of afraid to . I'm hoping as I get accustomed to this new situation with my mom that I'll get back to doing what I'm supposed to. I'm planning (once again... ) on Monday..... Hugs! Nancy

I know you posted this yesterday, but I've finally had the chance to stop by. How are those Lean Cusinine pizzas? I haven't tried those. I'm sorry your water heater is out of commission, but thankfully, they aren't too costly to replace. I think ours was about $400 (as if anyone actually has that kind of money sitting around). We replaced the furnace and the air (which had broken on the hottest day of summer) at the same time. Thank goodness for credit approval! Stress is...eh, stress. I feel a little better today, now that I kow that I have produced a few follicles that appear to have some "good eggs" as my RE said. He figures I have a really good chance of this working out for me, because it all looks pretty good from where he's standing. I'm supposed to do some LH surge testing over the weekend to make sure I don't ovulate on my own and miss our opportunity, but they figure I probably have until Wednesday or so...and I have an u/s on my follies again on Tuesday. Hi Girls, I hope all is well with you today. Nancy, how are things with your family? Pam, are you trying to be as stress free as possible? I don't have to work til 11:30 this morning because I have to work Saturday. I just came back from my 3 mile walk, that's my exercise for today. After my bowl of cereal, it's off to mom's for a shower because of the broken water heater (I think that story is in a reply somwhere lol). Here's the food plan: B: Bowl of grapenut trail mix cereal w/1 pkt s&l med. DD rasp coffee w/cream & 1 s&l to take to work L: Lean Cuisine BBQ Chicken Pizza S: Homemade chef salad w/ diced ham, boiled eggs, and short cuts ckn and greens, w/ Just2Good Honey Mustard dressing. maybe a snack, but I try not to eat in between meals. I usually do 2 or 3 propel waters a day too. Have a great day all!!!!!! Love, Lisa 380/277.5/200ish

Hi Pamela, I know how hard it is!!! We adopted two kids at age 8 and 6 (they are now 19 and 21). We tried for 8 years to get pregnant. I had the dye thing too, (hysteropaliogram??), was on clomid, etc. We finally said ENOUGH. My last dose of the Clomid was in December, I got pregnant the first week in April. The old-fashioned way!!!!!!! LOL. But, I do remember getting excited when I was late, etc. My little miracle is now going to be 10 in January. And you know what, dh had a vasectomy when the baby was 3!!! Who would have thought!!!!!!! I know you hear these success stories and it doesnt make it any easier, but hopefully it will instill more hope. Focusing on your own health is a great help too, Pam. Keep on keeping on hon, . My scale was at 277.5 this morning. I had intended to do my workout after work, but dh called and told me the water heater was leaking. Oh great. We just got it in 2000. The warranty ran out in March!!!!! So, this will be an extra $600 I didnt plan on. And, we live good, as far as we have good cars, own a home, etc, but I have NO savings and can be a month behind at times. So... off to finangle some bills.....ugh. Sometimes its hard working in the bank, seeing some balances people are able to keep!!!!! LOL!!!! Have a great evening friends... Love, Lisa 380/277.5/200ish

Pam...... Sweetie.....take a DEEP breath........ I know you are excited and nervous, but stress isn't good for baby making. Take it one step at a time. Stress is not healthy. Please take care of yourself and try not to worry. I'm sure you'll be sharing some very happy news with us in no time! As for eating today, no plan, was running late, I'll try to make good choices.

No healthy plan for today. Just trying to make it through the next few days without losing my mind. I'm a nervous wreck about this baby-making thing. It's going to cost us nearly $800 a cycle, and that weighs heavily on me. It just has to work the first time, IT HAS TO! Still sitting on 215, even after chinese food for dinner. Have a good day. HI all..... I did good yesterday! Think I actually have half a chance to stay on track! Stupid scale isn't budging though, but I did meansure and lost 2 inches in my waist, 3 in my hips and 2 in my chest so I guess that's better than nothing. I still want it to show on the scale. My boyfriend tries to remind me that we are working out and lifting weights therefore I am building muscle. But why doesn't that make me feel better?? I'm a case!!! Today's plan: B: Cheese Slices and Jello L: Ham Roll Up D: BBQ Chicken No snacks, didn't bring any Have a great day!!!

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better Pamela.... I did OK yesterday - a few more calories that I planned, but not too bad. Tap class was really fun and I actually was able to catch up with what they did last week (I missed because of the dog fight...) Here's the plan for today: B: banana and peanut butter L: Myoplex shake D: going out for my son's birthday; probably veal or chicken parm - meat only no pasta Snacks: protein bar Exercise: I'm going to practice my tap today for about 1/2 hour. Hugs, Nancy
