Hang in there Pamela! Yesterday was pretty good, not perfect, but okay. I didn't exercise at all. Yesterday: 1500 calories and 30 minutes exercise, all water and vitamins. Today begins another week, and I am absolutely dreading work. I love the kids, but the teacher that I primarily work with completely stresses me out. Not only does she dump the bulk of the work on me, but when she's in a bad mood, the tension in the room is horrendous. It truly is a toxic environment, and I'm trapped. Here's today's menu: B: toast L: wrap, cottage cheese, crackers D: mini-pizzas (homemade) S: ? Exercise: plan is for 30 minutes Pamela

Topic: Walk From Obesity
Hey all my July wls surgery buddies! Anyone on here registered to walk this year at the ASBS Walk From Obesity? I'm registered to walk on Sunday the 17th at Riverside Park in Manhattan. Since wls is the best thing that's happened in my life, I want to give back to a worthy cause. I attended the same walk last year and had a great time connecting with other wls folks. Yesterday was pretty good, except I overdosed on pumpkin seeds... I was trying to find some "legal" to snack on... I guess my personality won't allow me to "snack" as I end up grazing or overdosing.... The scale is UP today!!! Of course, I've got the blues about it.... We won't discuss the lasanga I ate on Friday... This weight thing is no joke. You've got to stay on top it!! Today, I'm doing all liquids... we'll see how it goes.... Hugs! Denise

I have been absolutely out of control for a week and a half. All junk food, all the time. I guess I've just had too much going on in my life that even medication couldn't help me control the emotional eating. Today is a new week, a new day...so there's always hope! Hi all!!Many of you have asked for me to keep in touch and give an update from my last post a couple weeks ago when I was home from revision surgery!! Well....things are still very "delicate". As I said before Dr put in a g tube into my old stomach and I was attempting formula thru a syringe as instructed. That did not work and when I saw my PCP this week I am again dehydrated and remain malnourished,. They now have continous feeding going thru a pump( 20 hrs a day****il I can get to 2000 calories. I continue to lose weight and my labs are a mess but I am now more optimistic with the pump feedings. My "new" pouch is VERY grouchy and I am only able to get in if lucky 2 ozs of pureed 2xs a day and I have to force myself to do that. I ordered and went back to all chewable vitamins to help in that area. I went on to a yahoo group complications board and granted it is a very low % of people on there but others have similar problems. Again I say I never have regrted having WLS because if I did not I would not be here today. Thanks to all for well wishes you have been sending!!! Good day to all, Things are going well and I am staying away from those aweful carbs. It is one day at a time but they are the trigger to all my bad habits...I have learned that!! Went on a date with the bubby today and saw Hollywoodland. If you haven't seen it please don't bother to go....not a great movie. Munching on some veggies and dip.....will have some nice asparagus soup for supper...I know it is an aquired taste but I love it. Strength to all.....we need it... Hugs Karen 299 - 157 - 149
