Well I was great in my eating yesterday and not a carb to be found....but the scales read 158.2 today which is up a half a pound. I was on such a roll that I nearly kicked the scales. I don't mind an increase when I know I deserve one but I sure don't like to see an increase when I have been good....anyway...I have been good today again and will need to see 157 again soon to get my ego back in shape....hugs to all....
Karen.

Hello my supportive family...
This past weekend is a blur... I had a house full of giggling 13 year olds... pizza... chips... cake... they ate it and so did I. I'm back on plan today eating... I'm trying to binge on protein for a change. The pool reopens tomorrow... hallelujah! Will soon be back on my exercise regime then. Here's today's protein pack plan:
Breakfast: AchievOne
Snack: Deli turkey & bacon
Lunch: Ground turkey
Snack: AchievOne
Dinner: Steak
Snack: AchievOne
64 oz Crystal Lite
Nutrition:
1272 Calories
50 Fat
24 Carbs
140 Protein
Exercise:
None planned... okay, so I'm lazy today!

There must have been something in the air - I was the same way. I was craving something that I just couldn't put my finger on. There was a major battle in my brain
and I ended up having some Ritz crackers with melted cheese - not the most terrible thing, but those dang carbs that never stop calling to me. I also had an Atkins caramel protein bar.
I weighed in at 169 - I don't quite get it - if I eat over 800 calories I gain... . I walked about 3 miles yesterday too
.
I just got in from mowing the lawn. I'm going to take a walk later on, then run some errands. I don't really have a plan today - sometimes it seems better when I don't.
Hope everyone has a great holiday (although I'm very bummed about Steve Irwin (Croc Hunter) being killed ~ I just loved his enthusiasm. My prayers are with his family and friends.
)
Hugs,
Nancy

Lost control of the eating last night. I was craving SOMETHING, but didn't know what i was craving, so I ate EVERYTHING instead. I managed to get in a little exericse (15 minutes of walking).
I don't really have a plan in place for today, but I'm working on it being a healthy day. One day at a time, right?

Thank you so much, Nancy! I actually felt beautiful that day. Everything went so well, I was in shock LOL, with all the troubles we were expecting etc...it was such a relief to have everything go so smoothly.
I wish everyone could have at least half the happiness I have. Life is great!

Hiyas Pamela!
Thanks so much. We're happy, can't you tell from the pics LOL.
W wanted a huge wedding, we actually had planned on an even larger one than it turned out to be. We ended up with about 100 guests (out of 180 invited) Not too bad LOL. It was just beautiful. The weather was perfect, the ceremony was short and sweet (with little flubs that made it our own LOL) the parks where we went for photos were great (not too much wind) and the reception was a hoot and a half LOL (food was YUMMY) I couldn't have asked for more.
The honeymoon was the perfect topping to this cake hehehe...
I wish I could have had everyone there, but I don't think they had a reception hall big enough for all of us!
Now getting back to real life and reality, kinda sucks...but we have no choice. Hopefully in 5 years or so we can move to Colorado, we honestly did fall in love with the place!

Thanks, Karen. I REALLY need to hear good stories about this adenomyosis. My mom is under the impression that the uterus specialist who did the surgery would have told me not to waste my time or money if he thought there was very little chance for me. Instead, he said everything looked perfect and to move forward. I hope she's right!
Now that I've had 3 days of lousy eating, it's hard to get back on track. I don't go back to wor****il Tuesday, and that makes it even harder! Plus, I'm so full of water from the IV that I'm puffy EVERYWHERE. At any rate, I've got to get my mind back into the ballgame because I don't want to be 217 forever. It's funny, though, because a year ago, I would have been ecstatic to be 217. Isn't it funny how we're never happy when we get what we want?
Have a great day! I plan to, it's BEAUTIFUL outside!

Good morning, Julie babies!!
This weekend is my daughter's birthday.... It's been rather busy... Sleepovers with screaming 13 year olds... I need my head examined... I haven't been concentrating too much on a plan... just staying away from carbs... holding steady at the same weight.... The pool reopens on Tuesday, so I think I'll be back in the swing of things next week...
Hey Karen and Nancy.... "weigh" to go on your journey down the scale. Pamela... it will happen...
Hugs to all!!
Denise
