Hi all, I had a pretty good weekend. Busy as usual. I went off a bit on my diet. Yesterday went to Chili's with my family. I did OK, ordered a salad with grilled chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken was very dry and I really couldn't eat much. Even more unfortunate was that I split a Moulten Chocolate dessert with my niece! I don't really think I ate half, but boy was that good!!!!! Can you believe with that and a few soy chips I went from 176.8 on Sunday morning to 178.9 this morning??? Boy, that scale shows no forgiveness!! I'm back on track today. I think I'm going to do liquids today and then some salmon tonight. I've had a couple of bottles of water and a protein drink, and I did my WATP kickboxing tape. Redemption..... How's everyone else doing today? Hugs, Nancy

OK now. YOU CAN DO THIS!!! How about planning your day's menu ahead of time and set a time that you can eat, no drinking 30 before or 30 after. I think if you do this, you'll feel a little more in control. DO NOT LISTEN TO THE FAT DENISE IN YOUR HEAD!!!! Listen to the trim and healthy Denise that you know you can be!!! My FAT NANCY is always jabbering in my head: "Just have one; you can get back on track tomorrow; you've been good, so you can go off a little". NO!! We are the only ones who can control our eating habits. We are in charge. Giving in is not an option!!! I guarantee that dealing with and denying cravings for one day will give you a whole new perspective. You will feel better about yourself. I went off a little over the weekend and I'm not letting it go any further. I've already done my WATP kick boxing tape, and I've had two bottles of water and a protein drink this morning. If I don't take control, I'll be back to nearly 300 lbs. and I will not let that happen. Find something else to occupy your interest. I got some sugar-free cough drops and sometimes just popping one of those in my mouth takes away that desire to feed my face with other things. Or suck down an entire bottle of water. Denise, you are a strong woman - hey, you were the engineer on the weight loss train for a long time!!! Please know that I have all the faith in the world in you and you can take control of this. Just think about how good you're going to feel. I actually have to remember that food doesn't really make me feel good anymore....just guilty. Hugs, Nancy

I am so out of control I don't know what to do. I'm back to my 2005 weight. I was supposed to be trying to get under 200, not race to add more over it! UGH! I've got to get my grazing under control. Today I am going to try liquids all day and then meat and vegetable for one meal. If I get weak, I'll get a cesar salad from Wendy's. I need to keep Crystal Lite in my face all day. I've been eating out entirely too much. I know this the culprit. Although I'm meeting a fellow WLS for dinner tonight at Longhorn. She is still in the honeymoon phase. She had the surgery this past May. My goal is a small steak and side salad. I didn't get up to exerise this morning. My body is sore from walking 6 miles. Yeah, I walked the six miles, but I came home and ate like six people!! Thank goodness for another day to try and get it right! Thanks for listening to me whine for a bit!!! HUGS! ME

Good morning Traci, I'm doing OK today. As I've mentioned, I've been dealing with cravings for the past few days - nothing is really seeming to satisfy them. I've been able to stay away from the really bad stuff - sugar and white carbs, and trying to stick to healther things if I feel I have to snack. I didn't exercise for two days and I hate to let myself get away from that. So first thing this morning I practiced tap dancing for an hour - worked myself into a real lather! Now I'm going to get ready to go food shopping, then home and will take the dog for a nice long walk. I'm meeting my family for dinner at Chili's later this evening, but should be able to get something healthy. Hope everyone has a great day! Hugs, Nancy

Denise - I'm with you all the way - I hope you know that! I had a rough weekend too, lots of cravings, but I'm really trying to satisfy it with healthier choices. Keyword: trying!! That's all we can do is try. You'll get back on course ~ no doubt about it!! Hugs, N.

Good morning, Traci!!! Well I'm back from my long pity box party. I'm glad you guys didn't join me. Some parties aren't worth attending. Do you remember the song "Momma Told Me Not to Come" by 3 Dog Night? That was a party, she told me not to got to! I've got such a hard head! I'm headed out to walk 6 miles right now! Plan to come back and eat tilapia and natural appelsauce. I've made out my menu plan in fitday. Today is going to be a good day. I have to take this one day at a time! Hugs! ME

Morning everyone How is your weekend going?! Staying on track with eating, supplements, water and exercising? Monna: I get emails from Unjury and got one this morning that talks about the type of protein they use and it's a Whey Protein Isolate (most whey proteins are whey protein concentrate and contain a lot of lactose) and they say in their literature that theirs is nearly lactose free and many who are lactose intolerant can tolerate their protein. Have you tried Unjury? Just a suggestion for you. I really like Unjury myself - so thought if you hadn't tried that one, it might be a protein you can handle. Nancy, Denise, Michelle - anyone else???? How are YOU?!! Traci

Hi all, I just wanted to quickly stop by in between my winterizing the house (plastic on windows, kitchen and bathroom carpets down) and the usual weekend errands. I didn't have a great day yesterday. As I mentioned earlier, I'm in a funk of some sort and I'm wanting to soothe it with eating. I didn't eat anything sinful yesterday - no sugar, but I also didn't get my protein or water in and lived on whole grain pretzels and Special K Protien Plus cereal. I also ate a bunch of Bugles... It was one of those "I'm craving something, but can't figure out what it is" days. I seem to be better today and I'm staying very busy too. Hopefully I'll be back on track and the cravings have subsided for awhile. Talk to you all tomorrow - have a great and healthy day. Hugs, Nancy

My protein powder came yesterday. I have mixed up the mixed berry for my breakfast. I have tasted worse, but I have certainly tasted better. I can survive--can't be worse than some of the things I did to lose weight before surgery. I really want to get 15 lbs off by the first of the year. Will let you know how it goes. Monna

Morning everyone Can you believe they already have Christmas stuff out?!! Supposedly they had a "black Friday" sale at Walmart yesterday! They had it on the news - I couldn't believe it. I have already started my Christmas shopping, but still...... Today I have to get out and buy my girls some winter coats. Theirs from last year are a bit small. I also need to clean and do laundry - but I have spent the week in this house and I need to get out - so I am. Don't forget to turn your clocks back 1 hour tonight before you go to bed. How are you all doing? Staying on track? Staying out of the Halloween candy? Traci
