Traci, I'm so so so glad you're feeling better!! Wonderful!!!! You too Jennifer - even if it's just a little better, it's still better, right? I guess we're all busy bees this weekend. I washed, ironed and hung the winter curtains, put away most of the outside furniture, painted the trim and made a pot of vegetable beef soup. I also walked the dog about a mile. Sometimes I wonder how I do it! But, I'm really happy that I can. I was so busy today that I kind of forgot to eat, or drink for that matter - not good. It's 6 PM and I've only had one bottle of water, one cup of coffee and about 1/2 cup of salmon salad. I'll have some soup tonight - won't partake of the garlic toast though!! Gonna go grab a bottle of water and suck it down. Talk to you all tomorrow. Hugs, Nancy

Glad you are feeling better. I have that puffiness too and saw a number on the scale that I've not seen since I was very pregnant. I also believe it's from the steriods and fluids they pumped into me. I had more energy yesterday than usual so I'm thinking what little bit of iron we got into me before the reaction helped. I was and dried five loads of clothes, but didn't get them folded. I cleaned the living room and then the baby messed it up, so I cleaned it again. We went through that cycle about five times. I also went ot my mom's to do some secret remodeling. They are in NJ visiting my sister who had a baby girl Friday night. They were supposed to be gone until next Thursday but are coming back TODAY! They don't know that they don't have a floor in their living room and dining room. We need to finish that today and get all the furniture back in there. It reminds me of one of those home makeover shows when the people come home early. I hope we can get it done. I even had energy to go out with a friend for a couple of hours last night and then when I got home I cleaned the guest room. I had a new comforter set that I bought in the summer but never had the energy to put it on. It looks nice. Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning everyone I managed to get quite a bit done yesterday: ALL of the laundry, two trips to Walmart and got some CHRISTMAS SHOPPING DONE!! and made supper, went to the movie store and bought myself a new lamp for the living room and put that together too!! Now let me tell you - it's been forever and a day since I had enough energy to do all that!!! So I'd say I'm feeling better!! The only side effect I'm noticing from the infusion is some puffiness/swelling and I'm guessing that's from the steroid shot they gave me. My feet and hands are a little puffy. I'm guessing that will go away eventually. I noticed the scale was up a couple pounds and I know I didn't eat any more or anything that would have caused that jump overnight, so it must be from the steroids. So that's the only downside I can see from the infusion. It's one I can live with if I get my energy back. Today is church and then home to relax with the family. What are you doing today? Have a great day everyone!

I'm late getting here...but I'm here!! I did Target early this morning. Then to the Christmas Shoppe. It was raining like the devil yesterday and this morning....finally cleared this afternoon. I got a burst of energy last night and started painting the living room. I got it all cut in, so this afternoon I finished it. It's a great feeling to have it done. As I'm typing this, I'm eating some home made pizza. Not exactly on my high protein regimen, but today I'm not going to be as strict as I have been. I've been doing well and if I feel like some pizza, I'm going to have it. At least it's not a Whopper with cheese!! I'm going to watch a movie tonight and get to bed early; I just wanted to keep my promise and check in every day. Glad you're seeing a little improvement Traci. Let's hope tomorrow is even better. Hugs, Nancy

Morning everyone Well, hard to tell if I feel a real difference from the infusion this morning - I didn't sleep well, then just as I was going back to sleep, my hubby got up to go to work (3am) and then the cats started meowing and wanting out of their room (yes, they have their own room! ). But considering all that, I don't feel as bad as I would have before the infusion I guess - so that's improvement!! We'll see how I feel tomorrow morning. Today I have to tackle Mount Laundry. No getting around that, even though every fiber of my being would really love to run off to Washington, MO today to shop at Target and Khols. I'm going to be good and do the laundry. I'll let my energy level decide what else I get done today. What's everyone else doing today? Traci

I'm so glad it went well for you. I was thinking of you all day. I know last week I had my infusion on Wednesday and at lunch the next day, they told me I looked like I was ready to bounce of the wall. I felt the difference that quickly. Then on Saturday, I cleaned both bathrooms before I even had breakfast. I hadn't had energy to do that since before the baby was born in January. By Tuesday though I was feeling exhausted. I don't think I got very much iron in my test dose though. I'm not sure. I'm trying to find out how much most people get with dextran/Infed. I hope you feel great in the morning! Keep us posted.

I'm done pumping iron for the day. No reactions or any problems. I'm getting a wee bit of a headache, but that's probably for sitting for so long. Otherwise, it wasn't bad at all and I had a nice time visiting with different people at the hospital in for infusions and the nurses treating me today. So not a bad experience at all for me. They said it could take a day or two for me to notice a difference. So I'm praying I wake up tomorrow morning full of energy!!! Traci

Way to go Michelle!! I find that if I can get a few days under my belt (so to speak... ) I don't find myself thinking about eating as much. Have a great weekend all! Hugs, N.

Tracy, My thoughts and prayers are with you today. I know all will go well and you will be feeling better soon. I had a good eating day yesterday. I finally managed my urge to snack all day. I limited myself and lost a pound! Woohoo! Today I'm on track to do well again. I hope this will keep up! I have a very busy weekend ahead so I probably won't get to post. I hope everyone has a great weekend!!! Michelle
