I had my surgery this past Monday, August 4th, and I'm so glad I did this! I hope everyone's experience with this surgery goes as smoothly as mine has so far. I'm in very little pain, no nausea or vomiting and have decent energy! I'm also involved in a study being doing at Emory Hospital in Atlanta on women who are diabetic and having the gastric by-pass. It's completely cost free and has given me a lot of information about myself that I normally wouldn't have been able to obtain without putting out a lot of money for tests. It's so cool! I have fianally been given a date! After two years of fighting! Looks like i will be a looser as of Aug 21st! I can't wait! the countdown begins! I just thought fo something ironic, for the first tiem in my life i am grateful to be called a looser! LMAO!
