I just have to know, how many of us out there has went a completely different way with our hair since surgery.
This weekend I colored mine to a medium dark auburn and just an hour ago went and had it cut VERY short.
AND I LOVE IT!!!! It looks very good with the "new" face.
Can't wait to see how many of us did something extreme to our looks after the weightloss.

Hi Lisa~
AHHHHH Starbucks...my favorite subject!!
I order a decaf sugar free Vanilla Latte Breve with whip cream. The 1/2 n 1/2 in a breve has less sugar than regular milk. I have NO trouble with these, even a Grande two times in one day...

Lisa,
I order sugar-free hazelnut, decaff, 1/2 soy, 1/2 2% latte. The reason I order 1/2 soy and 1/2 2% milk is that since my surgery I have developed a sensitivity to milk and can't tolerate more than 3/4 of a cup of it or so. The soy milk is okay but it creates another problem for me. Going with half and half seems to work just fine and tastes great!

Hi guys,
I know you have talked about this before, but when you go to Starbucks....What kind of coffee do you order. (Besides a regular coffee)
I ordered some vanilla thing one time and got sick....But I know that there are some really great tasting coffee's you guys have talked about before...
Hope everyone is doing well. The board has been really quite this past week or so....

I'm glad to hear I'm not alone on this, but at the same time, wish NONE of us had to deal with it, but hey, that's life. I've gotten better with my snacking and cut down significantly. I decided to replace my breakfast with a hearty protein shake to start off my day and snack on fruits as much as I can. I'm one that needs a salty and sweet snack, so bought some mixed nuts and snack on them with grapes. Gives me the best of both worlds. Also doing cheese and crackers more to stay away from more unhealthier snacks. I went to the market and bought a whole watermelon. Gonna get home, cut it up in to snack size pieces, ziplock it, and gonna have it readily available for when I get in my "snacky" mode. It's been hard. There are times I still get some chips or just get out of my "good habits" but I just take a last bite of the snack and walk away! lol. I got on www.fitday.com and write down EVERYTHING i eat under their "journal" section. That has helped. Typing in the info just makes it more concrete. Also been doing more running. As of this weekend, I go for a jog every other morning. The exercise has really given me more energy and just feel more "fit". I figure, if I DO snack on bad stuff, the running/exercise will at least help me with this darn battle....
Thus far...dropped 2lbs...so I must be doing SOMETHING right. Will power...we must find it ASAP!

I'm pretty much in the same boat hon.....I am in the process of getting all those items checked. I personally think that my thyroid is out of wack! But we will soon find out. Don't be discouraged, and I wont either. I miss alot of work as well. Most of the time it's just because I so darned pooped out. Go see your doc. And hang in there. I only lost 80 and as of lately keep gaining a pound or two here and there. I hope I come to some kind of conclusion after I see doc.
