Wanna know how I know? We have a mouse. YUP! Saw the little critter scramble across my living room floor this morning. Horrid little monsters. BUT with that is a sign that Fall is coming as every year we get at least once mouse. Guess its time for a trip to Wally World for some "special mouse food". Cant let the little things go hungry now can we *insert evil laugh here*.

On the weigh in front: *sigh* Lost 1 lb last week. I am never going to get out of the 220's I swear lol. Oh well 1lb is 1lb right? That still gives me all week to make it not only into the teens but to at least get back up to 10lbs a month loss. Fun part is that Fitday predicted me to be at 222lbs today. I like "Cupid" brand high-waist support garments that I get at WalMart. They are about $10 or less and come in several firmness options. They really help suck in the bulges.

It's the most amazing thing! I am so proud and happy for you.
I was reading a magazine article on body image this weekend. It said that the average American female wears between a size 10 and a 14...YOU ARE AVERAGE! (Isn't average grand?)
Congrats on you amazing wow moment!

Happy tears here too!
Don't buy too many 12's, you'll need 10's before you know it!

Michelle, I hear Spanx has a good product, as far as undergarments go. Its awfully expensive though. I dont want to invest in that until Im close to goal. No other suggestions come to mind. I guess I was lucky, I never carried my weight in the middle. Now my legs are a different story. I have finally started losing in the leg areas. Wohoo! As far as bra's, I went to Kohl's, spent hours just trying them on. All kinds, all brands, all shapes and sizes until I found ones I liked, fit well, and reigned the girls in. Spent about 4 hours just trying one after the other. I had no clue as what to look for. I ended up with 2 Bali bra's. Some day I might even make it to Victoria's secret! LOL

That is a BIG wow! I cant feel your excitement! Congratulations. I cant wait to get there! LOL

I too feel your pain Michele. Bras are my one of my worse enemies. I haven't found ANY to fit me right since losing weight. I would love to hear from others on how they are handling this issue.
As far as the tummy control, I haven't had much luck with that either. I can find one to suck it in but it has to come out somewhere?!?!LOL It usually pops out from the top of the garment or the bottom. Hey, maybe we should invent something to help us all! Then, we can all be rich and not jiggle when we walk(and heaven forbid....RUN)LOL
Your body will eventually distribute itself out. Are you exercising? That may help too with toning. Well my friend, I wish you luck and hope someone out there has the answer for us all.

Topic: RE: I DID IT! I made an appointment!
I want to see LOTS of pictures after your appointment Felicia!!!! My daughter is a cosmetology student in school -- this will be her third year -- she will get to take her state boards this year -- she is always wanting me to do something different with my hair! She even convinced me to color it blonde (I had dirty blonde hair before) so I did! It actually makes me feel a little younger!!!!!! I think this is a wonderful WOW moment for you!!!!
Hugs,
