Thank you Beth. I am 5 feet tall. I was still considered very overweight in a size 10, but I would have been happy at a size 10 too. I am just happy that I am no longer a size 24. ((((HUGS)))) Dawn

According to my doctor I met his 18 month goal at my six month. I started out 314 and weighed 190 at my 6 month. I am down to 178 at this point. My goal is 130 so I have a about 48 lbs to go. I cannot beleive his goal was so high of a weight. I would have still been 2 lbs from morbid obesity with that.

I wish! Doctor says goal should be 160- I want my goal to be 145. So today, at 175, I still have 30 lbs to go. I want to reach this goal by my 1 year re-birthday this November. SO that is about 1 pound each week to reach MY goal. I KNOW I can do it!!! Celeste 303/175/145goal

I cannot belive it!!! I went clothes shopping tonight and found out that I am now a size 6!!! I almost cried in the dressing room I started out at a size 24 and am amazed that I made it to a size 6. I even tried on two different brands of jeans just to make sure. I am so happy that I just needed to tell you all about it. ((((HUGS)))) Dawn

Hi All! Just found this November 2003 message board. You are all so inspiring to me! I am on a plateau and have been eating more than I should - worried about old habits, etc. and not wanting this to be in vain. But, I feel a little better after seeing I am not far off from the rest of you! Surgery Date: 11/21/03 Starting Weight: 276 lbs Current Weight: 190 Total Loss: 86 lbs Goal Weight: ???? My doc hasn't said anything, and I just can't come up with a number! Down from 22-24 to size 14 - almost 12. Thanks for the boost! Donna
