I stayed at home and we grilled and yes, I drank my crystal light. I love grilled food.

I carried my crystal lite everywhere I went. We went to Fla and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, guess I'm adjusting.

Topic: RE: Down 122 lbs
Diane, Congrats!! It's a wonderful feeling, huh? I am happy for you, and all of us who have been making this journey. It's great to see how everyone is doing, and what things change in your life when you get to be on the 'losing' side. ;o) I understand what you say about being the talk of the picnic, now it's the first time in my life that when people see me who've not seen me for a while will say something like, 'you're getting so tiny.' I'm like, yeah, they're not talking about me..must be someone behind me.' LOL Then it dawns on me that I am a lot less in wt than when they last saw me, and losing 120+ lbs is like losing a person off of you.
Keep up the great work! Have a great summer, and enjoy it!
Hugs, Cindy

Not necessarily will everyone have a lap chole as surgery of choice. Many docs, will only do open if you have had a lap rny.
Topic: RE: FRIENDS WANT ME TO....
Heather,
Why not bring to the party your own beverages. It will save them from having to second guess what you are allowed, and now a days, it is not unheard of to bring your own.
I know that this is coming post july 4th, but maybe this will be helpful in the future.

It's so great to see how everyone is doing! Congrats to you all, and all of us!
My stats;
Surgery Date: 11/18/03
Start Wt: 357 lbs
Current Wt: 235 lbs
Total Loss to date: 122 lbs
Goal Wt: !?! I don't know... I am guessing from the wt loss graph on this site that I should be 138, but I think my Dr's goal wt for me is like 160..does that sound right? I have to ask, as I see them this week.
Hope you all are having a great summer! Good luck, and continued success to each and everyone of you.
Cindy

Topic: Down 122 lbs
I sure hope everyone is feeling as good as I am! I am down 122 lbs since surgery day and feeling great. I just cannot believe what I look like. I have not looked this good since I was about 16. I went to a 4th of July picnic at a friends who I have not seen in a year or so and I was the talk of the picnic. (Boy did that feel good since it was about how THIN I was and not how FAT I was). And last week I went shopping for some new shirts since my bra shows under my arms on all my others and I also went to the dressing room to try the shirts on.......well low and behold I did not know that woman in the mirror! She looked pretty good! It is funny cause I FINALLY notice now how good I really am looking compared to the FAT old me. LOL I mean I am not SKINNY yet, but I think I am starting to look good. A friend at the picnic said Diane you look like you did in high school. WOW!!! That was a thrill. And to think I am still losing........ this means I will soon look better than I did in high school. WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!
