Surgery Date 11/26/03 Starting weight 345 lbs Current weight 225 lbs Total loss to date 120 lbs Goal weight 175 lbs That is another 50 lbs to go, hope to hit it by my anniversary date!!! I feel awesome and love to look at before and after pictures of myself. It is taking longer to get the "mental" picture of the results in my head. Everyone is excited and happy with the "new" me!!!!!

I haven't posted for quite a while. I am a little over 7 months post-op and am at 189 pounds for a total loss of 108 pounds. My wife, mother and coworkers say I shouldn't lose any more weight as my face is looking thin. My surgeon said I shouldn't be over 188 and to call him if I got down to 180. I still don't see it in the mirror. Have lots of loose skin especially my inner thighs so I may start looking into PS. Our group meeting in 2 weeks will have a plastic surgeon as guest speaker. My wife is a surgical nurse and has worked with this doctor and says she is excellent. Gary Williamson open rny - 11-25-03 Dr. Overcash - Ocala, FL 297-189 (-108 lbs) BMI 43 (now 27.1)

Hi Surgery Date 11/10/2003 Lap RYN proximal Starting weight 309 lbs Current weight 235 lbs Total loss 74 lbs Goal weight 140 lbs I am half way there and all though I feel 100% better then when I started, it's kind of disappointing that I am losing so slowly. Hopefully it's a good thing. I still have the fear that I will stop losing and never be below a size 18/20 which I am in right now. The good thing is I can't remember being in that size. I continue to follow the program and am now working out at least three times a week at a place similar to Curves. Reading everyone's accomplishments encourages me to keep the faith and I wish everyone the greatest success on his or her continued journeys. Happy Fourth of July to all. Darlene

Surgery Date: 11/13/03 Starting weight: 310 lbs Current weight: 175 lbs Total loss: 135 lbs Goal weight: 150 lbs First I would like to congratulate all of us for doing so well. The WLS is an answer to my prayers, as I am sure it is for all of you as well. The quality of my life has improved so much, I can hardly believe it. When I see people I have not seen for a while (pre-surgery) they do not recognize me at all. I love it. I just walk up to them and say "You don't know who I am, do you?" I love seeing the look on their faces when they realize who I am. As some of you have said, if I do not lose another pound I would be happy, but now I am greedy and would like to reach my goal. I started at size 28 and now am wearing a 14 and some 12's. Yesterday I tried on my daughter's skirt and it is a size 10. Woo Hoo, was I shocked that I could zip it up.
