Just curioes, Have you tried the whey fruity protein drink. That was the only kind that didn't upset my stomach.
Here is a link for some free samples.

Topic: RE: Stuck???
Hi Dawn!
I'm eating a lot of grilled chicken & pork tenderloin. I normally have turkey bacon or a scrambled egg for breakfast. I also eat a lot of tuna & spoons of reduced fat peanut butter.
I am still taking my vitamins. I take a women's once a day multi-vitamin. I also am on calcium & iron supplements.
No, I've not had any blood work done since sometime in March. I had to have my gallbladder out at the end of Jan. I am still experiencing some nausea.
I have yet to find a protein drink that settles on my stomach. Even if I just sip on them throughout the day, they seem to find their way back out.
I'm having a prob going back to my doc that did my surgery. I'm not comfortable with him any more. He post-poned my surgery and a scope that was supposed to be done after my gallbladder surgery (which I couldn't get in touch w/ him when I had my attack. I had to go through my PCP).
I think that I am going to have to make an appointment with my PCP to have some blood work done and try to figure out what is going on. Last time they checked, everything was OK. But I had also taken all my meds that morning (including all supplements). If that would make a difference????
Thanks for trying to help!

Topic: RE: Mood Swings
You are not alone Kristy. I have found that I get very moody and snap alot easyer than I did in the past. I have to step back from situation and givemyself time to cool down. My best friend said something totaly innocent the other day and I almost blew up at her. Luckaly I was able to hold back and the next day realised I had just taken what she said the wrong way. I think with all the weight we are losing our hormones can go a bit out of whack.
Good luck!!!

I have heard the same from many other recent post-ops. You need to make sure you get enough rest, don't try to do too much too soon, and just ride it out if you can. If you keep having problems or if they get so bad you are having problems functioning, speak to your primary care provider--anti-depressants may help.

Topic: Mood Swings
Just wondering if anyone is experiencing mood swings?
I have had them since my surgery. After I had my surgery, I honestly believe that I had some depression going on.
It has gotten better.
But as far as the mood swings, they come and go real often. And fast! I can be in the best mood. Smiling and having a great time. Before I know it, I will be upset.
I've also noticed that being around a crowd now can be a challenge. Which is totally strange for me. I've always been a people person. ALWAYS!
