Thanks for the hair update, that is the wrost part for me. I am 2 days shy of 6 months, I have gone from 248 (size 20) to 174 (size 10) 5'4". I feel great I can not wait unit I get to the 100lbs marking!

I am so happy for you! I had my surgery on the 25th of Nov 04. I have lost a total of 74 pounds. I would like to loose an additional 46 pounds.

As of Friday I hit the -100 pound mark, after a two-week plateau. Hip hip hurrah! Only 67 pounds to go!
My next two goals are also close--I am looking forward to 202 (no longer "morbidly obese" or "extremely obese", but merely "obese", and to 199, the "under 200" landmark!

CONGRATULTIONS! I'M 6 MONTHS OUT ALSO. I'VE LOST AROUND 83 POUNDS. I STARTED AT 262 & I'M NOW 179.5. I WENT FROM A SIZE 26 TO A SIZE 14 (COMFORTABLE) BUT I DID BUY A SIZE 12 SKIRT YESTERDAY. I TOO FEEL THAT THIS WAS THE BEST THING I'VE EVER DONE. TOO BAD I DIDN'T DO IT SOONER. I DON'T KNOW IF I WANT TO GET TO A SIZE 8 BUT A 12 OR 10 WILL BE JUST GREAT FOR ME. I'M 5'4.

Good job, you sound like you feel great, Its deffinatley worth it. My husband who was against it all the way is not complaining now with a 72 lb loss as I occasionaly turn a few heads. Keep up the confidence, you have a new exciting life ahead of you.

Hang in there, just get into the doc. You've done great don't ever regret that 70 lb loss, Its gone forever!! doesn't that feel great!!!
