Topic: RE: NOT A HAPPY CAMPER !!!
Darlene I am sorry you aren't getting the results you wanted. I have a few suggestions that may help, or you may already be doing these things: No sugar. No calories as liquids. Low carb diet--protein and non-starchy veggies only. 60-70 grams of protein every day. 70-90 ounces of water or other non-calorie non-caffiene fluids every day. Exercise 5 times a week with thirty minutes of aerobic activity 5 times a week and three sessions of strength building a week (you can get both kinds of exercise in 30 minutes at Curves). How tall are you and what surgery did you have? At six months we should have lost 50% of our excess weight with the RNY or DS. If you had a VBG or lap-band weight comes off slower. Topic: CHECK IN TIME - Day 1 Protien Train
Well, so far so good. It was a challenge for me to eat more today to get my protein in but I am sure it will be well worth it. I took my measurements and weighed myself so that I can keep track of my accomplishments. How was your first day on the Protein Train??? Breakfast Boiled egg Carnation Instant Breakfast Snack 1/2 Boiled egg Lunch Shrimp Snack Pistachios Dinner Shrimp and Lobster Water- 52 ounces and counting Exercise: I walked 30 minutes at lunch and will walk 5 miles and work my upper body this evening.

Hey Regina, I eat two 3-4oz meals a day and drink one protein shake for breakfast. After dinner, I may have cottage cheese w/fruit or another low carb snack, if I can fit it in... since I'm usually trying to get in my liquids as well. What you're eating is not bad, sounds pretty reasonable to me. Shawna Postop 380/276/150

Topic: RE: I DID IT....!!!!!!!!!
ok ok, seems I was about 2 weeks premature in this lol. The scale at the gym that I had been using according to the trainer there runs very high and often is very misleading. Oh well. But as of today at my doc appt for my 6th month visit (at 5.5 months) I am NOW officially down the 100 lmao. Charlotte 11.26.03 375/now 275/???

Topic: NOT A HAPPY CAMPER !!!
Hi, I am six months today and still stuck at just 65 pounds lost. I only lost 5 pounds and maybe 2 inches this past month. I am so discouraged and I don't know what I am doing wrong. I have been stuck for the past three weeks again and nothing. I have tried all kinds of things, shaking things up and changing things around, exercising more etc. If anyone has any ideas I am open for suggestions. Darlene 309/244/???
