Ithink about it everyday! Myboobs have gone south and my tummy is hanging low! My surgeon will not even think about okaying it until 1 year and then with hmo's it will take about 6 months after that for approval and scheduling. So it winds up being 18months.

Thanks everyone for your support! I am really excited that Ive gotten this far and know its helping my mother make her choices too. Only 75 to go and Ill be tickled pink.

Congradulations on your successful weight loss. I know what you mean about the PS. Last time I saw my doctor he mentioned that I would be ready for a tummy tuck in a couple of months. I've so far lost 67 lbs as of 2 weeks ago...I have not weight myself lately 
. I have another 40 to goal He said he could give me a tummy tuck for my birthday which is in August As far as the boobs...I have NONE....I've always been small on the top but now they are gone 
and I'm really affraid of the breast enhancement surgery. I would love fuller breasts but I really don't know if I want to do that...my arms and theighs are not looking too good either...would like to do something about them one day....but my tummy is a priority. Keep up the good work and best of luck for us both as we get closer to our goals.

I know how you feel. I have a problem with pretzels. I thought that it was the "crunch", but it is probably the salt.

to all of you NOV WLS friends. I have a question. How many of you are already thinking Plastic Surgery. I know, i know it has only been 5 months almost 6 months now for some of you. But I know there has to be some of you out there whose close to goal already and contiplating a Tummy Tuck, Boob Lift, or Augmentation of some sort? Im 25 lbs away from goal and it's almost summer and i would love to be able to ware a belly shirt 
..hehehehe. But i know we've gotta be atleast 1 year to 18 months out with a steady weight. But does anyne know of anyone whose met goal early maintained their weight and was able to get Plastic Surgery before their year. Im almost sure that after having a TT that I would be at goal just by having it. I'd like to hear from you any suggestions, 
,knowledge of etc. pertaining to this topic.

I weigh every day. It's no big deal. I look forward to it, because it's moving in the right direction - left.
I know what you mean about not seeing the changes. I get tons of compliments from everyone. I went from a 4XL shirt to a large, but when I look down I still still see a big fat belly. My doctor said it's normal to still see ourselves that way. It will take a while for out brains to catch up with our bodies. I would encourage you to get out and let people see you. Soak up all the possitive compliments, pat yourself on the back. This is your time to shine. Weigh as often as you like. If the scales didn't go down today, they will tomorrow or the next day. They have to. And when they do go down,...what a way to start the day.

Hi, my name is chris and I am a weigh-a-holic!
I weigh in the morning, but if nature call, I do it again. How sad is that!
As a stay at home mom myself (at least for 10 more days) I understand. You do not have a lot of people who notice your losses.
Can you go to a gym? I go to curves and hopefully I will be the "loser of the month". There is a lot of encouragement there and always a friendly smile.
