Is anyone else going through these emotions after surgery or is it just me. I feel like a child that didn't get his/her way when I am going through these fits of anger and can't get a grip on life. I am so out of control some days and as of lately I can be so calm during the day but when nightfall hits watch out, everything that I thought may have passed just comes ragging out. I feel so sorry for my husband, I know that I am driving him slowly insane with all this. But the anger and tantrums just happen before I can stop it. I have made an appointment today with my doctor hoping and praying that there is medication that will help with this problem, although I am scared that with most anti-depressants that I will start to put on weight again. Any suggestions would be so appreciated. -Shariyun 287/198/155

Hi; while running around the web; I came across this quote. Thought it was interesting enough to share to my weight loss buddies. "We struggle because we're fixated on the end result. We force ourselves to go to the gym, restrict food, measure and weigh ourselves. You let that number on the scale determine how your day's going to go. I ask clients to remember what it was like to play as a kid. You ran aournd, climbed on things --your goal was not to lose weight, it was to have fun. Being active gave you a sense of freedom, excitement and amazement. You have to reconnect with that emotion." so here is to having a FUN day. mark g.

Thanks for your support. Overall I have been doing well and following orders but I have reached a point where food is definitely not any fun. I've gotten bored with food and not much of anything tastes good. I'm sure it is more of a head thing than a belly thing. I have a another followup appt next week with my doc. I'm going to whine at him also. I know this plateau will break but I want it now. John 340/262/something'ish

For what it is worth, I prefer Perrier with a bit of unsweetened koolaid and then add a touch of Splenda, and I do usually let the fizz air itself out a bit. I have found Walmart carries Perrier at a decent price. The lemon or lime flavored works great when you are mixing it with something else. John
