Topic: RE: Has everyone started losing their hair?
yup; losing some every day. of course I don't have that much to lose; but don't want to be bald.
want to start taking vitiamins; but looking around trying to find some that might really work. mark g.

Topic: RE: A typical daily menu.
I start my day with a protein drink; like Fuzzy Naval; or Strawberry Kiwi; from Bariatriceating.com. I include some yoguart; and 3 or 4 pieces of fruit. Usually mango; or cantalope; or strawberries. If I get hungry during the morning I usualy have a banana. Lunch is either chili; deli sliced turkey or chicken and lately I have been craving cucumbers with basamic vinegar (o.k. so I can't spell basalmic ??) Dinner what ever my DW cooks; and I eat just a few ounces. If I snack; it's usually mixed nuts or string cheese or SF Fruit juice bars. I struggle to get my water in on the weekends. When I'm at my office it's much easier as the bottle is there on the desk whereas at home I'm running around ALOT and don't take water with me all the time. Todate I have lost 100 lbs; my surgery was Nov. 3

I had my surgery early November and I have been losing my hair for the past month or so.At first it didn't bother me too much as I usually get it thinned out because it's fairly thick but I do hope it stops at some point!

Topic: RE: sugar!!
I too do not have the sugar issue. It was the sugar free foods that made me ill. now i just try not eat things with sugar in them. Yess will power is the key. That is why they tell us this is just a tool use it wisely. If you do try and finde out you can just be careful.
Topic: RE: almost 4 months out and FINALLY down 50lbs(m)
Maybe it is the time of year that we had our WLS.LOL It is hard to get out and do things this time of year. But now it is getting lighter longer and I am sure we will all get out more and things will speed up...I hope.
Topic: RE: HELP!! Bad weight loss month
Hi Darlene -- from the other responses, you know you're not alone with this issue. I just wanted to add another number to the count. I'm having the same problem -- I've only lost about 5 pounds over the last two months for a total of 47. It's very frustrating. I've upped my protein, water, and exercise. Like some others *****sponded, I think I'm also at a weight that I was for a long time several years ago. It's certainly an aggravating phenomenon. I guess all we can do is hang in and hope for a big drop before too long and keep doing what we know is supposed to work I am mainly focusing on not getting too discouraged, which is no easy feat, I can tell ya.
Hope it breaks for you soon. And for me, too!
Best,
Kathy

wow, I haven't been on in awhile and was wondering was others who had surgery in Nov going through the hair loss process like I am.. Im loosing hair like crazy and Im really nervous about it. I heard that I would loose hair and that it was like a tade off to having the surgery, but to see balls of hair in my hand and strands falling continiously is something different for me.. How long does this last? Anybody let me know. Im struggling over here..lollll
