what is fitday.com? the only carbs I eat is with a sandwitch. Been taking my vitamins. Is it possible to have a weightloss halt every know and then? Again let me know more about that website.

Are you logging everything you eat on to fitday.com? Maybe you are getting too many or too little calories. Maybe you are eating too many carbs or not enough protien.
When you say you have been eating healthy, what kinds of foods have you been eating? Have you been getting all your vitamins?
Any of these things can bring your weightloss to a halt.
Topic: At a stand Still!!!
Anybody have any suggestions? I am at such a stand still. I work out 3-4 times a week and eat healthy but I just seem to be stuck where I am. I want to lose about 30 more pounds. Any ideas please let me know.

Topic: RE: Still Losing??
Depending on the day, i am about 20lbs (I still can't believe that) from my ideal weight. I never had a goal weight, but my surgeon said his for me was 220. Passed that at my 1yr check up. He was thrilled.
I still lose, albeit much slower. My tummy tuck is scheduled for 3/4/05 and the surgeon estimates about 10lbs of skin. so that will bring me within ten. Exceeds my expectations! But in general i am still losing about 5lbs a month. This is a concern for the plastic surgeon. He says I will have hanging skin again if I lose and additional 40 lbs. If I lost that much more the least of my problems would be hanging skin. 135 and 5'11 would look nasty on me. LOL

If you are a size 8/10 you should consider yourself a normal size and not worry about trying to lose more. For every 100 pounds we lose we have 7-8 pounds of loose skin, deflated fat cells, and no-longer needed connective tissue that no amount of dieting will remove. This extra weight, along with the heavier-than-normal bones from being morbidly obese for years, increase our weight without increasing our size.
Because of this, my surgeon says that our lowest normal weight (prior to plastic surgery to remove the skin and deflated fat cells, if that is an option) would be that weight which would give us a BMI of 25 (not 21 or 23). How tall are you?
The key to maintainance is to weigh yourself daily, and whenever your weight gets three pounds above what you have set as your goal, cut way down on carbs until you get back where you were. If you are within three pounds of your goal, allow yourself some treats, girl! You deserve them! Over time you will get a handle on what you can eat without gaining too much too fast.
Remember that exercise helps tremendously in maintaining weight loss and also increases your metabolism so you can get away with eating more.
I am a size 8, feel no need to be any smaller, and my body is still in weight-loss mode so I am eating like crazy just to stay here--life is funny--I would have killed to have had this probleem anytime over the last 30 years!

I would still be losing if I hadn't upped my calories a lot. I now eat 3 high-protein meals plus 3 high carb snacks to stay stable. I had the DS so I don't dump, which makes it easier. Believe it or not, though, I am getting tired of having to eat every 2-3 hours. Wouldn't we have killed to have this problem anytime before?--giggle.
