Topic: 1-Year Anniversary November 13th
Hello Everyone!! Just a quick update. My one year anniversary was on Nov. 13th. I didn't quite reach the goals I had set for myself, but I am happy nonetheless. I have lost 145 lbs. so far. I went from a 4X/5X T-shirt to a Medium and from a size 32W Pants to a 16. I have a lot of loose skin and know that once I can get rid of that I will look and feel better. I am getting tired of having to tuck it all into my pants. LOL Congratulations to everyone having their anniversary this week... Keep up the Good Work! and Good Luck on reaching your Goals. Kristin

Topic: RE: 1YEAR DOWN, 4 TO GO!!!
Hi, on an average day, i eat like 2 cinnamon waffles with 2 sausages (about 4 oz. total) for breakfast. for lunch it's usually leftovers from the night before, (about 4 to 5 oz. total). i usually have 1 oz of cheese and 1 oz of peanuts for an afternoon snack around 4 ish. for supper i have around 5 oz. of whatever, steak, chicken, pork, with noodles, rice or a roll. and i will have a sugar free dessert about an hour later (about 1 to 2 oz.) that is my day. i have been really fortunate to be able to eat just about anything i want. there are a few things i won't touch or my body doesn't like but it's not shy about telling me and i won't touch it again. not worth it. just like sugar, if you can live without it, do because it makes a big difference. and soda as well, i can see the difference in people around me who have made the choices. and it is a difference. and don't be discouraged, you have come so far and every lb is forever weight. it's gone forever, if you want it to be. don't give up!! congrats on your anniversary and good luck on reaching your goal, i know you can do it. if you need anything else, just let me know stacy leary [email protected] 262.5~131.0 11/14/2003

Congrats, you are doing amazing! If you don't mind me asking what do you eat on an avergage day? It was a year for me on 11/4 and I'm stll not a goal. I'm trying really hard to stick to a mostly protein diet, but I've been on a 4 1/2 month plateau, alot of exercise and alot of fluid I need to jump start the loosing again to accomplish this in the next 6 mos. Thanks for your help, one of the "SLOW LOOSERS"

Topic: RE: HELP!!!!
I take a prenatal vitamin and b-12 pills from Wal-Mart and my 5month check-up all of my labs were great. I don't know what it will be on the 29th, I will be going back for my yearly. My year wil be up on the 18th. I went from 221/145, size 20/8 but want to get to 125/5. You can increase your protein by eating meat. I don't do protein shakes because they make me sick so I eat alot of fish and chicken, beef jerky nuggets. I also eat every hour due to me on getting in about 2 or 3 bits each time I eat. This is just incase I don't get in enough protein.

Topic: One year out!
When I woke up this morning, it didn't dawn on me that today is my one year anniversary. It's been a remarkable year. The one thing I wish I had done was keep a journal. I do have pics from various stages though. To this day I have problems seeing myself as skinny. On November 24th I will be having my tummy tuck and breast lift. I'm not scared of the surgery, but I am still feeling a little apprehensive. I have been overweight my entire life, and to finally have the body I've always dreamed about is a little overwhelming. Granted, my legs still need a little work, but my bicycle is helping with that. Have you ever wanted something so bad, and then when you finally got it, it scared the pants off of you? I guess that's how I'm feeling right now. I need someone to hold my hand...lol. Wish me luck! Shelley HAPPY ANNIVERSARY EVERYONE!

Topic: Shopping was GREAT!!!!!!! and babbling
Hello Everyone, I just wanted to share my latest shopping experience. Went to Dayton Mall on Saturday. Old Navey was having a really nice sale on all marked down items. Take another 50% off of the lowest price. Well I'm still in shock as what size I wear. I had an arm load of colthes to try on. ALL WERE TO BIG!!!! I had to go down to a size 4!!!!!!. I got $240 worth of clothes for $77. I just can't believe how my life has changed in a year. I don't know who this skinny person is that lookes back at me when I'm standing there trying on clothes. I still can't see me the way others do. I still see me as over 100lb more than I am. It's taking time for my head to catch up with my body. I also need to update my picture. The one that is up there now is pre-op and at 150. I'm now at 115. I'll have to do a 'fashion show' and have my daughter take som new pictures. LOL Ok enough babbling. Have a Great day.
