Topic: Happy Anniversary to Me
WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKE! over 120lbs gone forever It's hard to believe that it's been a year already. As I sit back and reflect over last year...I must truly say that I have truly been blessed. I thank God for bringing me through surgery and giving me the strength to follow the rules that were laid out to me by my surgeon. I also thank my world-class surgeons: Dr. Lord and Dr. Fontana for their impeccable skills and their never ending support. I also want to thank my wonderful husband and children for loving me and putting up with me through it all. My weight loss journey was very challenging in the beginning. I dealt the nausea and vomiting for about the first 6 months. (Which was not a pretty sight) and I know I was not the nicest person in the world during that time. AnnGee thanks for being a wonderful and a great friend. Hope, Dee Dee, Miz D and Erika, you guys are the greatest.(Thanks for being you ) I also want thank my ettes: Michelle Kirby, Lisa H, Mz. Mocha and Lisa Lisa for allowing me to share your personal journey with you. To my OH family you are the greatest and thanks for all the love and support you give daily. I would also like to thank AMOS for giving me this outlet to connect with others that are on my same journey. Diamond

yeah that puts it in a different view. My teenage son weighs just under what I have lost. I tried to give him a piggy back ride the other day and whew.... what a work out that was. mark g.

I am working on getting the scale to move downward again, it has been stuck for 2 weeks now. I only have 8 lbs until I make goal. I am meeting w/my PCP to discuss having a tummy tuck done soon.

Goal for November is to keep the scale moving. It started moving downwards again after 4 - 6 weeks of staying steady. Thank god the inches were coming off or I would not know what to do. Also to stay on course. I find myself grazing more these days since the amount and types of food have increased from 11 months ago. But hey I have about 30 more pounds to go. No complaints but want to reach goal. I remember myself going to Weigh****chers and looking at those women saying I need to lose 25-30 lbs and I was like oh gee that's no big deal, now I understand where they were coming from.

I want to get off this plateau. It has been the longest one yet. I only have 20 lbs to reach the goal set by Dr. C and I am to meet the plastic surgeon on the 17th ~ she said meeting now was good, since she isn't doing new surgeries until spring and this will give us time to get approved and for me to lose the other 20 lbs, but at the rate I am *not* losing, it could take forever and ever amen.

Today I am -175lbs. I had to buy dog food and bought a 25lb bag. Loading it in the car I realized that I lost 7 of them. Mind boggling. How did I move? I think if you are down about plateau's just visualize something that weighs what you have lost. It really brightened my day.

Topic: Happy Anniversary
I am going to celebrate my one-year anniversary on 11/3, but on that day I will be undergoing a hysterectomy and LBL. I am 5'5" and started at 268 lbs. I now weigh 128 lbs and wear a size 4/6 and have lost a total of 114 inches. I just can't believe what a rollcoaster of a year this has been. I want to thank all of you and obesity help. This has been a great motivator and a major factor in my success.
