Topic: HELP
I need some help , It is almost my 1 year anniversary and at about 7 months out I stopped losing, I started at 213 and lost to 167 then gradually stopped and even started gaining, I have tried everything to break this plateau, I have never had trouble eating anything, never dumped and have to watch every bite I put in my mouth, I walk 2 miles a day but nothing has helped, has anybody experience this or have any suggestions for me, I go back to my doc next week, is it possible my outlet has stretched, nothing I do helps and I am getting really depressed and frustrated with it. How many calories should I be eating ? What amounts are you eating at meals ???? Please help.....

Topic: Goals for November
Tomorrow is the beginning of a brand new month. Have you took time out of your busy schedule to focus what goals you would like to acheive over the next month?
I really need to increase my exercise routine this month. Walking is basically my only form of exercise right now due to me healing from surgery. I will not be able in incorporate weight training until the middle of the month. I am slowly but surely working on my pre surgery walking distance(5 miles). I am also going to continue to do the "All liquid Monday" I really feel refreshed after a day of all liquids. I will also challenge myself to increase my water intake daily.
What are your goals for the next month?

Topic: RE: Plastic Surgery
Charity, I am having a hysterectomy and tummy tuck on 11/3. Since I needed the hysterectomy the hospital and all aspects of that surgery are covered by insurance. The Plastic surgeon is charging me $6000 for his services and I need to pay $750 to the hospital for the additional anthestia time. If I wasn't having the hysterectomy, it would have cost about $10,000.

I got my approval from my insurance for the tummy tuck, but they denied the breast lift. I'm still having it done though. I work for the hospital where the surgery is being done, so they said they will work with me on payment arrangements. I won't have to pay anything for the tummy as the hospital will waive the co-pay as I am an employee, otherwise it would cost me $250. The breast lift will be about $5000. Pray for an abdominal hernia. If you have one, insurance usually covers it. I'll be having it all done the day before Thanksgiving. Two Thanksgivings in a row fresh out of the hospital...lol. Good luck!

Hi Charity....
Congradulations on your fantastic weight loss
I have spoken to my doctor regarding a tummy tuck...and he submitted paper work to the insurance for approval since I am having major rashes....and documented everything....I'm still waiting to hear from them for over 6 weeks now
OH well I have a feeling it won't be approved......and regarding my breasts...I have NONE...I started at as a 36C and now I'm barley a 34A....and thats too big
Good luck on your journey

Topic: Plastic Surgery
Hey guys, have any of you consulted with a plastic surgeon yet? If so, what are your projected costs? I have lost 114lbs and have another 30 or so to go before I reach my goal. I'm thinking about having my consultation now so I can get an idea of how much it's all going to cost. The odds of my insurance covering any of it is slim. I thought at one point i my be able to get my breasts covered. Before surgery they were quite large...now...nothing but skin. Everything on my body is sagging..but, i'll take a little sag over weighing 300 lbs again!
Thanks, Charity
